Being a Redskins fan prepares you for life.
Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.Originally Posted by suze109

What we all want is for RG3 to follow his doctors advice. That's all. Not to do unnecessary things just to make some of the ES doctors comfortable.
If his doctors say he will be fine without the crutches, then I have no problem with him not using crutches.
Keep in mind, this is 2013. Not 1973. Advancements in this type of knee surgery have been remarkable.

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!!
hey guys what time is the ROY show and what channel will it be on? Thanks!
From the number of knee operations under his belt I would think Dr. Andrews knows best. From what I know with the people having had knee surgeries, the doctors wanted them up and strengthening the knee immediately. But those are just old people and not premier athletes, so what do I know.

Tonight, the 2012 NFL Coach of the Year and Offensive Rookie of the Year awards will be announced. The special show to announce the awards, called NFL Honors, will air at 9:00 PM ET on CBS.
Former 2012 Colts interim head coach Bruce Arians, now the head coach of the Cardinals, is considered the favorite to win Coach of the Year.
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is considered a strong contender for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, as are Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III and Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson.
The two-hour primetime awards special will broadcast from the Mahalia Jackson Theatre in New Orleans. Alec Baldwin will return to host the show after serving in the same role in the inaugural show last year in Indianapolis. Seven of the awards announced are from the Associated Press, including the AP Most Valuable Player.
If you recall, we did a little video breaking down the Offensive Rookie of the Year candidates a month or so ago. I still maintain Luck should win, but my instincts say RG3 will take the award.
RIP 21
NO Pressure, No Diamonds, KNOW Pressure, Know Diamonds!
Griffin said that he was going to watch the game with his family and that he will never attend a Super Bowl if he needs a ticket to get in.

Its ok to be biased for your teams Q.B. Just say it "RG3 deserves the award". Make yourself a believer. Re- train your brain
Just saying

Also on NFL network at 8 p.m. there is a Red Carpet special. Should be fun to watch and see what socks Robert is wearing tonight!
RG3 says his knee feels good an dhe has been walking without crutches for more than a week, he is just not human, I have no doubt now he will be back for the season opener

Forgot how much I love this dude for a sec.
so far no one has seen him limping
For those who are cringing at the thought of Robert not using crutches tonight, try not to!
I recently underwent the same surgery as Robert (although I tore the ACL/MCL rather than the ACL/LCL, I still had the bone-patellar-bone reconstruction) and I was only using crutches for the first week after surgery; a brace is all that's necessary after that.
For reference, I'm a 23 year old, 5'8" 165 lb, mildly-athletic pick-up basketball player, so I wouldn't be too worried about one of the most top flight athletes in the country going to an event without his crutches.
He will be fine.
HAIL!![]()
Rest in Peace Sean Taylor #21... you will never be forgotten and forever missed.
