just read that the NFL wants to know when RG3 will be back so they can schedule game accordingly, I think there is a good chance our "big" games will be later in the season next year and that will be good so RG3 can slowly get back into in "easier" games

Interesting...if the NFL is manipulating schedules like this, the implications are huge.

when you post something like that, the thing to do is provide a link to where you just read it, or if a print magazine, identify it.
"Captain, it's a viewpoint--not one of ours! We're under attack!"

"I see it, ensign! Engage amygdala! Transfer all power from frontal lobes!

Suspend critical thinking field! Go to course heading of reflexive response 101 at full bias!
    Now!'Enter' at will!"

"It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."

The ES doctors on this board need to stop assigning AP's recovery to some special magic and believe in RG3.
Man, I want to see him out there as much as you do, but look at the stats for ACL recoveries. Peterson had a cleaner tear and broke the barrier like a superhuman.

Don't let optimism and hope get in the way of reality. That only gets you disappointed.

The NFL has asked the redskins on the rehab status of RG3 but i highly doubt they would the realistic timeline when the schedules are made in April but i would think that the redskins schedule with primetime games will be backloaded

If I were Dan Snyder, RGIII's doc reports directly to me. It might sound excessive but, if RGIII's health is jeopardized - and we all know that neither RGIII himself nor Shanahan are trustworthy on this subject - Dan Snyder & the Redskins will be set back at least 5 yrs. He is a unique investment from that point of view, and worthy of the investment imo.

There is that word again.... "superhuman".

And yet you say I'm not being real.

    Some reasons for optimism:

" 'My goal is Week 1,' he said. 'That’s all I’m really worried about.' "

" 'You will see a different version of me,' he said. 'I vowed to my teammates and to myself after my first knee injury that I’ll come back a better player and that’s what I plan to do after this one as well. You won’t see the same Robert Griffin. You’ll see a better Robert Griffin.' "' "

Well I will say this much, prior to his surgery at Baylor he was alot more prone to taking off and running, but after the surgery he came back much more of a passing qb. He worked hard on his upper body, and arm strength.
So I am sure hoping the same thing happens afetr this surgery.

One thing is for sure, it will be fantastic to see him under center again.

Manipulating schedules? The league has always scheduled high profile games for prime time slots. All this means is the networks want to know if RGIII is going to be healthy before they give us a Monday/Sunday night game.

Talking about the order of games. Not time of the game. Putting the Skins "cupcakes" early and the supposed tough games later is simply

RG3 had just about the cleanest ACL tear possible. From what I understand, his old repair just came undone.
