Man, I want to see him out there as much as you do, but look at the stats for ACL recoveries. Peterson had a cleaner tear and broke the barrier like a superhuman.

Don't let optimism and hope get in the way of reality. That only gets you disappointed.

Unless I'm missing something the actual articles don't say anything about order of the games. The only thing reported is that the networks are interested so they can schedule the time slots appropriately.

His return from injury wouldn't impact timeslots at all. They have to be wanting to know so they can schedule the spoight games during a time of the year the Redskins are confident he will be back.

Which I don't have a problem with. Thats good business why wouldn't they?

Why wouldn't it impact time slots? If RGIII is playing it makes sense to put a game like WAS v NYG on Monday or Sunday night. If he's still out it makes sense to leave that game at 1 or 4 and put a different high profile game at night.

Mara wants the league to schedule the Giants games against the Redskins before RGIII is back to full strength. I'm calling it now......Giants open the season at Washington and will play at home vs. Washington in the first half of the season.

For RGIII to shoot for game 1 is a good motivator for him but I personally believe it's an arbitrary and dangerous goal We've waited this long for our QB so I have no problem waiting until he is as absolutely physically ready as possible. Kirk Cousins will have the whole off and preseason to adapt to the offense and will capably guide the team until Robert's return. Note to the Shanahan's- show restraint, use caution and respect the future!

Actually, you know, I wouldn't be at all shocked to see 'Skins at Giants to open the season.

Captain Kirk had better be ready regardless.
There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not a train.

You're right I don't know why that didn't even occur to me. I still think they will shy away from any of the real interesting matchups until October just to try to better ensure he is on the field.

I can't access this at work. Would someone please summarize? When was his video made?

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

Pretty sure it was Saturday. He just thanked the fans for keeping him in their prayers, said that it was tough learning that he had a more serious procedure done than he was expecting when he went under, but he's walking, going up stairs without any problem.

If RG3 is PUP then this should help Captain Kirk, as this will keep him working out with first team for pre season.
