I love how everyone is treating a regraft on a relatively intact ACL (just not intact enough for football) in a QB the same as a complete ACL/MCL tear in RB. Chill out guys.
Or is in training camp.People are gonna be REAL surprised when he's playing preseason games.
I'm not a doctor, but the fact is RGIII's injury was nowhere near as bad as Petersons, or even Wes Welker (ACL/MCL, and he was doing contact drills in training camp by August, and played in the preseason and he was injured in Week 17 of the 2009 season) or even Phillip Rivers (played a game WITHOUT an intact ACL, was in minicamp).
Most injuries of this nature are where the player absolutely shreds his knee and needs to repair the whole thing. That wasn't the case with RGIII - his injury wasn't even as bad as the one he sustained in college (and he actually finished the game on that injury).
I am convinced that this is yet another hit job on the Redskins and particularly Mike Shanahan (who the media ****ing loathes, just like they loathe Belichick but Bill wins so much he's untouchable in ways Shanny isn't). They are desperately trying to push the "Greedy, egotistical Shanny and Danny are wrecking RGIII's career after trading 3 picks for him". The entire story has been blown out of proportion by sports media because it fits a narrative.
