Dr. James Andrews: RG3 'way ahead of schedule'
Washington Redskins fans received more good news on the Robert Griffin III injury front. Dr. James Andrews said Friday the quarterback is recovering rapidly.
"His recovery is way ahead of schedule so far," Andrews told NFL Network. "We don't have to do much except try to hold him back."
It was announced last week that the Redskins were holding out hope that RG3 could be available Week 1.

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.Originally Posted by suze109

That just made my day! Awesome news. Go Redskins!!!
GEORGIA AVENUE.
I learned the first game of the season last year that it's foolish to doubt Robert. He'll make the right decision and, if he is back by the start of the season, I have trouble believing anything other than he will light the league on fire.

Just take it slow. No reason to push it. I think we learned that lesson. If he doesn't came back until Week 14 I wouldn't be angry at all, matter of fact I think that would be the prudent move. But obviously it's his body so I just hope RG3 uses his sense and doesn't let bravado influence his decision. He's a smart man I trust he'll do the right thing.
I know there are a lot of folks here clamoring in both directions concerning the return of RG. I am curious as to how many here would want him to stay seated if Kirk Cousins starts. plays until the 14th game like I saw someone post here and take the team to lets say 12 wins. 12-2.
How many fans does anyone believe would scream "now put RG3 in"?
I would guess 0, Zero, Nunca, Cero, not 1. I could be wrong.
He's ahead of schedule. But remember, the schedule was for start of 2015 season, so we'll see.
Kirk Cousins will never lead any team to a 12-2 record...Never. So just forget that hypothetical.

RIP Sean Taylor, may your passing serve as a message to others.
I'm not a pro athlete or even very young(34), but I am pretty good shape. I tried that yesterday, and it is near impossible!! I've made it my new challenge, but anyone who can do that for a prolonged amount of time like RGIII must be a freak. Mad props. On a bum knee, too.

U.S. Army-Retired
You know. If he retired right now that leave even less chance of him getting hurt. Something to strongly consider.
There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not a train.
