Only dead fishes follow the stream. "Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned, and the last fish has been caught, we will realize that we can't eat money."
Oh no that racists organization is trying to jeopardize poor Roberts career! Anytime something positve comes out about Rob the naysayers are quick to write up sum bs so they can get the fans talking **** about shanny an Snyder and play them against Rob...

Does anyone know if there is a new Adidas commercial with Robert? I was at a bar last night and I was keeping one eye on the television; however, the volume was turned down. A commercial came on and about half way through it I realized they were showing clips of Robert working out, and then at the very end the words...All In For Week 1 came up on the screen.

I take issue with the headline. I seriously doubt Robert or the Skins gives a crap what anyone else thinks about the debate over his recovery, nor should they. What some ill informed "sports reporter" thinks is immeterial. Dr. Andrews, Robert and the Skins are the only ones with opinions that really matter. I know it won't happen, but I would love to see every Redskin fan stop posting articles about what is being reported about his rehab because they all seem to be under informed speculation to outright "just make up **** and throw it against a wall and see what crap I can stir up" articles that add NOTHING to the knowledge base of what is going on.

Doing Great! He blowing up last season and is "All in for week 1". That just about sums it up, don't you think?
Let's not forget our haters!
Source: Robert Griffin III Has “A Long Way To Go” Before Starting Week One Unnamed source who isn't affiliated with Dr. Andrews, the medical staff, or the Redskins.
Friends of Robert Griffin III Reportedly Concerned Team Will Rush QB's Recovery Bleacher Report; which basically has no credibility.
Debate over Robert Griffin III's recovery only adds to pressure on QB A Jason Cole piece. Cole has always hated the Redskins. The two pieces above stemmed from this.
"It was like he was Jason on 'Friday the 13th' -- man just wouldn't go down," - Honolulu bar patron on Trent Williams being tasered and smashed over the head with a champagne bottle.
I dont really see an issue with any of those articles. I dont agree its the team that will push Robert to start week one. It will be Robert himself. The biggest issue is the LCL with the ACL. That injury usually takes a full year to HEAL. That is what people dont understand. RG3 can work out like a madman. But until the knee is healed. He is out. Look at this quote from James Andrews:
"There's an old saying, 'You can't bargain with Mother Nature.' So we can do all we want to get somebody well – they can be motivated, they can work hard – but Mother Nature still dictates when they can go back to play...Adrian is a whole different athlete, so we can't extrapolate what he did to the average athlete with an ACL injury."
All you read about on here is Adrian Petersons quick recovery. Andrews has consistently stated that Petersons knee was the cleanest he has ever seen. I have not heard that statement from him about RG3's knee. I will be completely shocked if RG3 doesnt miss a significant portion of next season. Not because he doesnt want to play. But because he is simply not healed yet.

A few things going on that aren't really talked about.
Adidas (like they did with Rose) is running an add campaign, playing or not playing week 1 doesn't matter to them
Redskins just won their division, made the playoffs, and raised ticket prices. Got to keep the momentum going somehow and posturing that RGIII will play week 1 does that.
NFL and its broadcast partners want to know if he is playing week 1, week 4, week 9, etc for scheduling.
Source close to RGIII can be his cousin, maid, gym partner, etc.
Keep all that in mind when you see these reports coming out. Redskins will NOT push him to play early and he should do a much better job of telling the team exactly how he is feeling (as opposed to the end of the Ravens game, Seattle game, etc)
Well said, daveakl. But the new commercial made me giddy all over again, I must admit.![]()
Skinsguy nailed it!!

The one thing that has bothered me since his surgery is what is being reported about the damage in the knee. I'm under the impression that he "partially" tore the LCL and he didn't actually tear the 1st ACL graft, but it was coming loose at the bore sights (where the screws are drilled in). Yet I keep hearing from media that he tore the ACL and LCL "and" the meniscus. I thought I didn't hear Andrews mention anything about the meniscus.

He didn't tear the PCL.

Redskins 2013 Opponents:

Away- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, Denver, Oakland
Yeah Andrews didn't talk about his knee being the cleanest he has ever seen but he hasn't exactly been Mr. Cool Your Jets on RG III's healing either -- him recently saying he's "WAY" ahead of schedule in his recovery, after saying post surgery that their hope and expectation that he will be ready for week #1 -- sounds like a fairly upbeat prognosis both after seeing the injury under the knife and observing the healing process thus far.
