Edit: ok, nevermind. I think that was written before RG3's season started. Which is still dumb, because you can't compare Cam to a guy that hadn't even played a down yet.

If he's medically cleared, yet he doesn't play, then people will probably start questioning his heart. I know I'm doing that right now with Rose. If you're healthy enough to play, you should be playing. Period.
That's not so much the problem with Newton, it's that he's not a leader/inspirer. Nobody whose head is not up his arse thinks RGIII's not a natural leader. That clip in the huddle where halfway through the 40 sec. clock he laughs, "oh, ya'all want the play?" -- the way he said it just showed you the guy is BMOC.

Local video of Robert at the street dedication-
(note: you may have to play with your volume to hear it all)

    http://www.kwtx.com/home/headlines/C...196526961.html

I was looking for the spot where a reporter interviewed him, but could not find it.
But the premise was the reporter asked him about playing next year and in typical robert fashion, he smiled and asked the reporter if he had seen the
newest Addidas commercial. Pretty funny stuff.

    Awesome.

I couldn't help but laugh at the kid that turned to the camera bout to cry. And his HS buddy could pass for Chris Neild.

RG3 can walk around just fine on his knee. He may be able to even jog on it.

He just can't play pro football on it right now. That'll come this Summer.

    This article is ridiculous
    http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/2...tart-of-season
Redskins QB Griffin says he'll be ready for start of season
AUSTIN, Texas -- Robert Griffin III says his surgically repaired right knee is "doing good" and he will be ready to play next season.

    .....click link for rest....
He said he'd be ready to play next season... never said he would ready for the start of it... stop printing words he did not say...

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

so true!! Can't wait for the merged x100 Free Agency threads to all combine... but it's been rather quiet thus far... I imagine next off-season will be loud.

    Kimberly Jones ‏@KimJonesSports
Mike Shanahan told me he has to plan for RG3 not to be ready to start season. KCousins gets all offseason reps, RG3 only mental reps.

    Kimberly Jones ‏@KimJonesSports
Shanahan said RG3 will play only "when he's 100 percent." Said it's fiction that option "hurts QBs" but RG3 has 2 learn 2 slide & knows it.

nothing new here though people act as if it is on twitter lol. Of course you are going to prepare Cousins to start. It would be irresponsible not too. Also as others mentioned it shows the option is going to be sticking around in the offense.

Best news of the offseason. Mike put it perfectly and I'm glad they know exactly what the problem is but aren't going to scrap the read option because everyone is crying about it.

And when we do have this thing turned around, people will see it, and say, ‘Oh my God, that's the way you do it.' "

Only a moron would claim that Griffin was hurt by the read-option when there has been 3 months of information out there desputing that claim.
