Griffin's latest posting on the twitters:
Many say you have to look out for yourself, but we all need someone to learn on & trust in this blame shifting-finger pointing world
You have to fight for what you believe. For what you want and need. But many times that does not involve thrwoing punches

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

I agree. RG3 was just too headstrong while running with the ball in his hands last year. Hopefully, this year he learns to go down when a play isn't there and not string out the situation and take a big hit. Russell Wilson does an excellent job of that.

There were aspects of Shanny's offensive though that brought some unnecessary hits. They need to scrap any triple option where the D can tee off on the QB whether he has the ball or not. And of course burn the play where RG3 is the receiver where he almost got his head taken off in Pittsburgh.

The good news is that they had already scrapped the triple option pretty much after the Bengals game. Our offense was exclusively a pistol read-option (with Kyle Shanahan pass concepts) one after the bye week. And, for the most part, Robert would either run out of bounds or slide on the plays where he chose to hold on to the ball and run.

The ONLY thing Robert needs to change is his method of going for every yard on his improvised scrambles during pass plays as far as I'm concerned.

And when we do have this thing turned around, people will see it, and say, ‘Oh my God, that's the way you do it.' "

I agree, the Bengals game was the worst of it. They didn't call the offense like that again... His two bad hits were him scrambling. His injured knee against Seattle was either when he was hit after a throw, sacked and bent backwards, or when he tried to pick up a bad snap... none of which were the triple option.

The miracles of stem cell research and a tireless driven work ethic. I said before by September/October his knee will be better than 90 percent of this board.

I suspect that James andrews, being a performer of stem cells surgery, used this method in robert

Did you see Jeremy Weriner responded to his tweet. Former Olympian. Wonder if they competed against each other in a track meet.

    Couple tweets

"No one said life would be easy, but it's tough to fight the good fight sometimes"
    &
"But as long as you have the fight in you, NO ONE can break you down. NO ONE"

I hope this doesn't mean set back. I know, i know, I'm being pessimistic. It's instilled in me as a Redskins fan.

I thought being a Redskins fan inherently brought optimism which always led to falling shirt or goals and complete letdowns...

Shanahan: RG III needs to learn to avoid contact

PHOENIX (AP) -- Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan says Robert Griffin III is ''ahead of schedule'' in his return from knee surgery.
Shanahan, speaking at the NFL owners meeting on Wednesday, said that when Griffin comes back, he must learn how to protect himself in the face of the fierce defenses in the NFL. Once Griffin does come back, Shanahan says the young quarterback needs to learn to slide and throw the ball away to avoid the big hits that lead to injuries.
Shanahan says that ''if hard work has anything to do with it,'' Griffin will be ready for the coming season. The standout rookie underwent surgery to repair knee ligaments after he was hurt in his team's playoff loss to Seattle.

    Now!'Enter' at will!"

He also again noted that it wasn't the read option that got him injured. All injuries came from plays designed to be drop backs.

Not only that, but he in fact said that the way the read option makes DL hesitate actually helps protect the QB.
