I'm soooo gonna use this quote against you after a loss.

Art Monk broke his leg in his 3rd season and had a 14 year career. Players every year have surgery and seem to "recover" fine,.........except any Redskin players, according to some. Tony Romo returned from a shoulder injury. Drew Brees came back from a near career ending shoulder injury. Adrian Peterson, Willis McGahee, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Wes Welker to name a few, have come back to pay at high levels after an injury.

Why do our fans think our players cannot heal? Why do our fans constantly think our players cannot come back? Fred Davis had the same injury as Terrell Suggs. Not a complete tear of the achilles and Suggs was back in 8 months. Suggs relies on being explosive. Looked good to me. Brady hurt his ACL. Robert was almost 10 years younger than Brady, when Brady hurt his knee. DeMarcus Ware dislocated his elbow and hurt his shouler. Should we say he's done like you are with Rak and Keenan? These guys are young. They'll heal. If they were all over 30, I'd say you have something.

Stop being so pessimistic. Sometimes the constant gloom and doom makes me not want to come in here. I have enough doom and gloom in my life, I'd rather come in here and read some positive things about the reigning NFC East Champions.
I think it has to do with us always having the worst training staff ever, worst field ever....etc....

I really try to stay out of here after a loss. I usually wait until Tuesday. I usually get more critical than upset any more.

My wife and I were just discussing RG3 and how much money he made in endorsements last year. Curious, I googled it and I stumbled across this gem.

    http://www.orangepower.com/threads/r...-deals.148489/

It's the Oklahoma State University message board. The amount of fail in this thread is epic, even though it only spans two pages. Anyway, I thought you guys could use a laugh in these tense days leading in to free agency.

    Here's the op:

"Subway, Gatorade, Adidas for starters... He's already the league Goldenboy. IMO, Cam Newton is, and will be leaps and bounds better, but who knows. However, RG3 is already in Tebow-land as far as popularity goes, rather than actual substance. Is this setting up for failure? The NFC East is probably the toughest division, so if he leads that team into playoff contention (which they already were with the likes of Rex Grossman), I'll be more of a believer. It'll be tough though. Anyone else not buying the hype?"

Click the link, it only gets better.

Well you do notice how no one has commented on that topic since August 7th of last year. The doubters were all proven wrong, and all his doubters would think he can't recover and become better from his surgery will be proven wrong in due time.

I was going to start a new thread but since we are asking all question related to RG3's health here. Suppose the doctors clear RG3 but RG3 himself feels like he is not mentally ready to come back as soon as he is cleared? I know Derrick Rose is doing that same exact thing.

I was actually thinking the same thing, then I had 3 thoughts:

    1. "This aint never gonna happen. If the docs clear him, he'll be out there."
    2. I think that the docs and team will not clear him until they see the burst, the speed, the cutting, the flexibility, etc. as being back to normal, or whatever the new normal might be.
    3. In football, different than basketball, there is a stigma attached to not playing due to injury, especially if you are cleared.

    Yeah, not going to happen.
There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it's not a train.

You may or may not find your answer in here.

The popular opinion is if he's medically cleared, he plays.

Is he cleared to play the same time he's cleared to practice at full participation? If that's the case he may not play because he may be behind in running the scheme and needs an extra week or two.

Derrick Rose doesn't want to play because he doesn't feel comfortable dunking off of his left foot yet.

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

RG3 is at the Baylor game and I have been watching him, several times he jumped out of his seat, I saw him jumping up and down and has been standing up and cheering. IT looks like his knee is not bothering him at all.

Yeah, saw that too. Definitely a good sign and sight to see.

everything I've heard about RG3's personality he'll be mentally ready to play about six months before he's medically cleared.

You know a guy's an idiot when he says Cam Newton is leaps and bounds better than RG3. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Cam has done NOTHING. Two years in the league and his team hasn't even sniffed the playoffs.

Edit: ok, nevermind. I think that was written before RG3's season started. Which is still dumb, because you can't compare Cam to a guy that hadn't even played a down yet.

If he's medically cleared, yet he doesn't play, then people will probably start questioning his heart. I know I'm doing that right now with Rose. If you're healthy enough to play, you should be playing. Period.
