We will still have a cap penalty, and are down a 1st round pick. I don't think we have a bad WR corps, and expect that year 2 of Robinson, and perhaps some progress with Josh Morgan or Hankerson will give us the WR group we envision. I don't think we're far away. Year 2 of Griffin will see much more passing IMO. I think we stay exactly where we are and develop the people we have top to bottom on offense. We put up what...400 something points, scored over 30 multiple times for the first time in forever. We'll be alright next year. We need to worry about this defense and keeping our players healthy late in the season.

There is a thread for this: http://www.extremeskins.com/showthre...2013-14-season

Although I don't believe Hankerson belongs in the conversation
FS, MLB?, RT?, SS, TE, CB.

This is not the first time this has happen he did the same thing in the loss to the giants.

he looked afraid to get hit on some of the plays. those saying to cut him are delusional and know nothing about the state of the Redskins. he isn't the greatest but he can still contribute.

Right now he is depth. I wouldn't be opposed to us looking at free agency or even the draft for more WRs
This. Nothing more than depth. Drops too many balls. I want to see us go after a speedster like Torrey Smith or big body receiver like Jennings.

And has played well in a lot of games too. You can't judge a guy for one play. That's kinds shortsighted.

It seems like he plays harder with Kirk Cousins in the game, maybe because he knows he is getting the ball?

I'm not the biggest Hank fan, so whatever, if he's gone I won't miss him too much.

He is a replacement player. Nothing more.

Are you guy that are saying to cut Hankerson the same ones that said to go with Gaffney over Moss?

Hankerson is just coming back from a major injury. He's looked decent this year.

Aldrick Robinson could end up Anthony Armstrong 2.0. The problem with WRs who are just burners is that they can be game planned out of the offense.

Armstrong made some long catches, and then was off the team a season later and people wondered why. We can't be clouded by performances in a single game.

Santana Moss is no longer a deep threat, but he still makes big catches, runs great routes, and does smart veteran things like on 3rd down hook routes, makes sure he is beyond the 1st down marker before turning around.

I am not writing off Aldrick Robinson yet, but at the same time, we can't let a couple long catches (One being against Dallas) cloud our judgement. What has the guy done since the Dallas game? If he is the best we have on opening day 2013, then fine, but don't be surprised if he falls further down the depth chart unless he starts showing he can do more then run a deep route.

Jennings is 5'11 and 198 lbs, he is not even close to being a "big body". Torrey Smith is only in the 2nd year of his rookie deal and won't be a FA anytime soon, considering even when his contract is up, I doubt Baltimore will let him go.

I like Hank a lot but he never lays out for a ball lol. It pisses me off. I want Hank to be the player I see him as in my head lol. But if the ball isn't at his chest or arm reach don't count on a catch, he rarely jumps if at all, always looks scared to get hit. Come on Hank, we need you to be our #2

That drop broke my heart. It was a game changer.

I would not call it lack of effort though.
The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "

Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.
