Some competition for Brad Jones fans possibly...

Texans owner Bob McNair pointed to inside linebacker as one of the team's biggest need positions this offseason.
We're not sure why McNair has been commenting on personnel matters so often lately, but it's his team. In addition to receiver, McNair mentioned inside 'backer as a position on which the Texans might use the 27th overall draft pick. Brian Cushing will return from his ACL tear, but free agents Bradie James and Barrett Ruud will surely walk. Darryl Sharpton should get another opportunity.

I think it's just a matter of so many fans wanting "anyone but him," so they aren't concerned. I don't personally think its that simple but I would be happy with either of the two above mentioned.

Believe choice may have been made but the wait is for coaching staff to get back off vacation following the super bowl.

Impending free agent WR Greg Jennings says he has "prepared my family for change," and added that he and Dolphins coach Joe Philbin have a "great relationship."
Jennings joined the Dolphins' team-owned radio/web TV show and stared into the camera with a smile and said, "Joe, how you doing. Remember me?" Jennings, 30 in September, has been linked to the Dolphins ever since it became clear that he wasn't in the Packers' future plans. Miami is fully expected to try and sign one of the top-flight potential No. 1 receivers on the open market.

For the John Mara fans out there:

Sports With Alternatives To Steroids (S.W.A.T.S.) co-owner Mitch Ross included Giants P Steve Weatherford as one of his clients.
This story just keeps getting more bizarre. In an hour-long "press conference" outside the Super Bowl XLVII media center, Ross also mentioned Brett Favre, Ray Lewis, Terrell Owens, recent BCS national championship teams at Auburn and Alabama, baseball players Johnny Damon and Carlos Pena and golfer Vijay Singh as clients. Weatherford angrily denied ever knowing or meeting Ross, adding he has contacted an attorney to rebut the "slanderous" accusations.

Weatherford, of course, is a look-a-like thread favorite:

According to The Dallas Morning News, multiple teams have shown interest in free agent OLB Sergio Kindle
Kindle was released from the Ravens' practice squad earlier this month and has been working out for teams during Super Bowl week. If healthy, he should land a reserve/future contract. Kindle has appeared in three career games since being the No. 43 overall pick in 2010.

Robert Griffin III was announced as the Associated Press' NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year on Saturday.
Griffin received 29 of a possible 50 votes to beat out Andrew Luck (11) and Russell Wilson (10) for the award. In his first year as the Redskins' quarterback, Griffin posted 27 total touchdowns to just five interceptions and led Washington to its first NFC East title in 13 years. It's the second consecutive season that a quarterback has won after Cam Newton took home the honors in 2011. Griffin's overall consistency and playmaking ability ultimately made him the right choice. His 102.4 quarterback rating set the NFL record for a rookie.

    J. Michael of CSN Baltimore says impending free agent OLB Paul Kruger "definitely" won't be re-signed by the Ravens.
Kruger posted regular season career-highs in tackles (42) and sacks (nine), and is reportedly seeking a contract in the $40 million range. His stock is on the rise after emerging on the national stage with a postseason flurry. Kruger graded out as a top-seven 3-4 outside linebacker in 2012 by Pro Football Focus. The Baltimore Sun suggests he could be a candidate for the franchise tag if the Ravens agree to a long-term extension with Joe Flacco before free agency.

Robert Griffin III (ACL, LCL surgery) says "no doubt" he'll be ready for Week 1.
Griffin says his knee feels good, and he's been walking without crutches for more than a week. Those that have seen him down in New Orleans for the Super Bowl say that RGIII is also walking without a limp. Owner Dan Snyder said RGIII's recovery has been "very impressive." With the Redskins getting daily updates from Griffin, we should be able to track his recovery rather closely throughout the spring and summer. Per Rich Tandler on Twitter.

Here's a name for you: Bradley Fletcher Rams

How about giving him a shot at FS?

An ex-Ram named Fletcher?? No thanks, we've been burned once already......

I've never of this guy so I googled him up. Apparently the Rams fans like him. They refer to him as a young physical corner. I don't know the success rate of CB to FS conversions, but I agree that it may be worth a look. The posts by Rams fans on the article I read make mention of the Rams need to spend draft picks on a safety, yet made no mention of converting Fletcher.

He seems to have the ability to make the transition - to me anyways...

Added him. Looks like he played a little Corner as well. Though, with as boss a CB core as they have over in St Louis, if their top priority is finding a Free Safety... that doesn't speak well for him. Competition never hurts though.

    Super Bowl Sunday rotoworld nuggets.

Robert Griffin (ACL, LCL surgery) is expected to open training camp on the PUP list.
Well, duh. Once camp opens, Griffin will be about six months removed from surgery. By opening camp on PUP, that will open another roster spot for the Redskins to bring in a camp arm at the quarterback position. RGIII has vowed to be ready for Week 1, but that is still up in the air at this point. His recovery seems to be going well, though. Griffin was at the NFL Honors on Saturday night, and he was walking without a limp and needed no crutches.

Impending free agent RB Danny Woodhead indicated that he hopes to re-sign with the Patriots.
Woodhead was featured in the Patriots' no-huddle offense in 2012, and finished with 747 total yards and seven touchdowns despite losing carries to Shane Vereen down the stretch. With Vereen and Stevan Ridley under contract through 2014, he'll likely have to accept a team-friendly contract to remain in New England. Rotoworld ranks Woodhead as the 10th best free agent running back available this offseason.

sure but that only happens if you start the SEASON on pup. the note said start camp on PUP which he very likely will as he can come off that and play week one if he is healthy enough.

Have no desire for Reggie Bush nor do I think he's feasible.

He still wants to be a starting caliber guy...and he wouldn't even have a CHANCE at that here. On top of that, he's going to want to be paid at least like a starter or something close to it. We don't have the luxury of that for an aging running back whose entire game is based around speed...which tends to start going away with age on RBs. I'd rather go for a younger guy that's going to be cheap along with seeing if Helu recovers, and let them compete.

I think Bush goes to a place like the Lions. He can fill the role Javhid Best seemed to be destined to never fill, and likely have a FAR better shot at getting significant carries behind Kevin Smith and LeShoure.
