Damn it...I'm gonna have to try to bleach out the burn stains on my Polumbus jersey.

Thanks for the update on the Bernstine, DC9. I really liked his film for a late round guy, especially his closing speed. If healthy, I think he can give contribute.

Our largest margin of loss was 15 points in that cluster **** of a game against Pittsburgh. After that, it was the Seahawks by 10, but I completely attribute that to RGIII's injury as we were embarrassing them prior to his initial tweak.

We lost the remaining five games by a single touchdown or less. Yes, I know, we could have lost other games, but if all things were equal except our defense was BETTER, as in actually had a safety on the roster with both legs working and a third corner who didn't have to be Wikipedia'd every time he took the field, then it's between 12-4 and 15-1. I mean, look at that. It wasn't our offense in the least.

Jesus, that stings. Could've been effing 15-1 if Merriweather could play on the grass and Jackson could stop smoking the grass.

Oh I totally agree, I was just being a smart ass. I am confident that if we get average safety play this year (which is an upgrade from bad) the defense will be a top 12 unit with Carriker and Rak back.

I totally agree. I am just saying that since this draft is deeper at the secondary position, we could be stock piling CB and S in hopes that those players are average or better, which I think is an upgrade. I think our defense played better when Merriweather was in, and with Rak back I think the pass rush improves and helps the secondary as well. I am not saying it's a definite but it is a possibility.

I would also take a later round chance on Honey Badger. One it is in the later rounds, two he was awesome in college, and three he looked great at the combine even after being out of college a year. I think the kid has a huge chip on his shoulder and if he can mature and focus it on the field, could be really good. I don't mind guys with some edge to them...look at Deangelo Hall or Richard Sherman ("What are you going to do?"-Richard Sherman. "I'm going to punch you in your face"-Trent Williams. "Then go and do it..."-Richard Sherman. POW! Haha).

I think not enough attention is paid to pass protection. People take RG3s mobility for granted. I think we're going to see more of the drop back game, not less this season and seasons to come. But Shanahan offensive lines have typically sacrificed some pass protection for dominating in the running game.

Pashos, Trueblood and Polumbus. Three rolls of masking tape when we REALLY needed a roll of duct tape. Yeah I know.......depth. These guys will be six feet deep if they fail to protect Griffin. And speaking of six feet deep, would somebody PLEASE put Goodell and Mara out of out misery already. Damn hemorrhoids!
    Is THIS sig small enough?

This has been by far my favorite option. I'm not a season ticket holder since geographically handicapped now, but I would totally support this if I was in any way possible.

I like The Honey Badger also, but don't believe he makes it out of the 3rd round and I wouldn't want to take him prior to the 4th.

I agree, I like him too, enough to trade one of our 5th rounders to move up in the 4th to get him, but I don't think he gets passed Baltimore at the end of round 3.

nah I think we will see RG3 operate like how he played after the Ravens game... still doing the read option but not running as much as he did in the beginning of the season...

we need to forget about traditional drop back passing game... its going to be all about getting the ball out of RG3's hand more quickly out of the read option concepts or through play action...

I really dont see how the defense is going to defend this offense as long as our playmakers on the outside stay healthy...

I would be happy with us taking him in the 3rd... Honey Badger just needs to get right locker room and I think we have the right locker room for that. He is alot of Adam "Pacma" Jones.. just the environment that he grew up... Good thing for him that he got the wakeup call as early as he did.. Look at how Adam Jones was able turn his life around.

I think Honey Badger could do that with the right environment. If you see his interview in the NFL.com, you can see that he was being "real" with himself about the lifestyle. Some might not like how he was saying that he needs help to keep him focused but I give him credit for being true with himself regarding his struggles...

I think the 3rd is too early, especially if Swope is there. And my caveat to getting Mathieu would be that we don't have D. Hall on the roster. If we re-sign D. Hall then you'd essentially have the same player, or same type of ball hawk/risk taker that you would with Mathieu. Just a touch smaller and a lot slower. But he is very intriguing that is for damn sure.

Tennessee signs Ryan Fitzpatrick to replace Matt Hasselbeck

Rumor per PFT is that Hasselbeck is going to sign with the Colts tomorrow.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait for Jim Irsay's tweet on this!
