Going to be a crowded market for CBs. Could force guys like D. Hall to accept a paycut to stick around.

haha, Rosenhaus probably represents 50% of the league... and I'd take pretty much all of his clients.

How is he in a 3-4 though. Seems like a perfect fit for the Giants as the 4-3 DT

Ravens | Dannell Ellerbe to receive significant offer
The Baltimore Ravens are expected to make impending free-agent LB Dannell Ellerbe a significant offer prior to the start of free agency. Ellerbe is expected to get a contract in the neighborhood of $30 million.

Lions | Not much talk with Cliff Avril
Detroit Lions impending free-agent DE Cliff Avril said there has not been much talk with the Lions about a new contract at this point but things could change in the next few days.
NFL | Cliff Avril open to playing in 3-4 scheme
Detroit Lions impending free-agent DE Cliff Avril said he would be interested playing linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. "I think I can do it," Avril said. "I thought I was going to be a 3-4 coming out, obviously. I ended up getting drafted to the Lions at the defensive end position. The weird thing is all the guys out of Purdue from the last few drafts who played end became 3-4 ends. I'm the only one out of all of those guys who played linebacker and became a defensive end. Maybe I'll join that club, if it's the case."
Jason Campbell - QB - Bears According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears and free agent Jason Campbell have mutual interest in a new deal.
The hang up will be money, as the Bears likely want Campbell to take a cut from his $3.5 million 2012 salary. Near the top of a hopelessly thin QB market, Campbell may first see what's available in free agency before re-upping in the Windy City.

Alan Branch - DL - Seahawks The Florida Times Union calls free agent DT Alan Branch a possibility for the Jaguars, "if the price is right."
The dots connect, as Branch played under new Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley in Seattle and Jacksonville is desperate for run stuffers. Branch, who goes 6-foot-6 and roughly 330 pounds, is also rumored to be on the Patriots' radar. Related: Jaguars

Eric Winston - T - Free Agent According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, "three teams" are targeting free agent RT Eric Winston, and he could end up signing as soon as today.
Winston was released by Kansas City on Wednesday and is free to sign elsewhere immediately. It's not surprising that he's got a hot market because Winston is still a solid starter, particularly in a zone-blocking offense. We suspect the Eagles, and perhaps Redskins and Dolphins are pursuing the 29-year-old.

Louis Delmas - DB - Lions The Detroit Free Press characterizes free agent FS Louis Delmas' Friday physical with the Lions as a routine "pre-free agency checkup."
In other words, there is no indication that a re-signing is imminent. That could change if Delmas' knee and groin check out. He's been a highly effective safety when healthy, but past injuries will cost Delmas money on the open market.

Dashon Goldson - DB - 49ers Citing multiple league sources, NJ.com's Jordan Raanan reports the Eagles are expected to pursue FS Dashon Goldson in free agency.
The dots here have been easy to connect. The Eagles have lots of money, a safety need, and new Philly VP of Player Personnel Tom Gamble was in the 49ers' front office during Goldson's development into an elite ball hawk and center-field safety. Goldson turned down a five-year, $25 million offer from San Francisco last offseason. He's seeking something more like $40 million over five seasons. The Eagles can get to $40 million under the cap by cutting Nnamdi Asomugha. Related: Eagles

Rashad Johnson - DB - Cardinals The Cardinals and free agent S Rashad Johnson are engaged in contract talks.
Working on keeping Johnson has been one of Arizona's top priorities, and there is mutual interest. After SS Adrian Wilson's release on Friday, Johnson has a clear path to a starting job with the Cardinals. There's reason to believe the two sides will work something out before free agency opens.

Chris Gamble - DB - Free Agent MLive.com suggests the Lions could be interested in free agent CB Chris Gamble.
Gamble, of course, was just released by the Panthers on Friday. Detroit is in desperate need of cornerback help, and they like their corners to have some length to them. Gamble, 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, should have plenty of suitors and could come as a bargain in a deep free-agent market. Related: Lions

Giants | Will allow Justin Tryon to test market
The New York Giants will allow impending free-agent CB Justin Tryon to test the free-agent market this offseason.

Lawrence Jackson - DL - Lions
Free agent DE Lawrence Jackson hasn't "had a whole lot of dialogue" with the Lions as the signing period approaches.
Jackson wants to return as Kyle Vanden Bosch's replacement, but it's unclear whether the feeling is mutual. Jackson, who turns 28 before the season, had 2.5 sacks in 2012. He's at least reasonable about his market value: "I know I won't command some of the big contracts that some of the defensive ends are getting."

Carson Palmer - QB - Raiders
NFL.com says the "more likely scenario" is that Carson Palmer refuses a pay cut and joins a weak free-agent quarterback market.
Palmer is due a $13 million salary in 2013, but there's just no way the cap-strapped Raiders are going to keep him around at that price. Ian Rapoport says not to be shocked if Oakland cuts him, and Palmer lands a gig to compete with a "young up-and-comer" somewhere else. The Raiders would save just under $6 million in cap space by releasing Palmer.

Derek Cox - DB - Jaguars
The Washington Examiner's John Keim passes along free agent CB Derek Cox as a "name to keep an eye on" for the Redskins this weekend.
Cox played college ball at William & Mary in Virginia, and the Redskins will have a cornerback need whether or not they release DeAngelo Hall. (We suspect they will.) Cox is young (26) and an effective enough cover corner to command a multi-year deal. Hall would have to be cut for the Skins to afford Cox.

James Harrison - LB - Steelers According to USA Today, the Steelers met again with James Harrison on Friday but made no progress in contract restructuring talks.
Per reporter Mike Garafolo, the impasse makes "it seeming increasingly likely Harrison will be released." Garafolo says there would need to be "major progress" made over the weekend for Harrison to be back in Black and Gold in 2013.

Victor Cruz - WR - Giants NFL.com says there is "already a ton of interest" in restricted free agent Victor Cruz, and "plenty of teams are just waiting for their opening."
Cruz is fully expected to be tendered by the Giants at the first-round level if a long-term deal can't be reached by Tuesday, but that might not be enough to deter interested teams. Ian Rapoport thinks "this could be the year someone bites" on a restricted free agent. CSN Philly's Geoff Mosher brought up the Rams as a possibility for Cruz the other day. St. Louis has two first-round picks and could part with one to replace free agent Danny Amendola in the slot.

Steven Jackson - RB - Rams Free agent Steven Jackson told ESPN Friday that he'd like to finish his career "like Ray Lewis."
Jackson will obviously be targeting contenders for his next team. We don't see him back in St. Louis. S-Jax made it clear that the Rams wanted him back only as a "committee" back, sharing time with Daryl Richardson and Isaiah Pead. The Broncos, Packers, and Falcons would all be logical landing spots.

Giants | Want to bring back Martellus Bennett
The New York Giants would like to re-sign impending free-agent TE Martellus Bennett before the start of free agency but no deal is imminent at this point.
Cox would be a very solid pickup for a reasonable price. Cox, Lynch, Meriweather, and one more CB/S in draft would be very solid additions.

John Abraham - DL - Free Agent In addition to the Seahawks, free agent John Abraham has scheduled a visit with the 49ers.
Highly productive despite his age (35 in May), Abraham would be a scary addition to each of these Super Bowl contenders, and particularly in San Francisco playing opposite Aldon Smith. Abraham's 49ers visit is expected to take place Friday night and Saturday. He met with the Seahawks on Friday afternoon. Related: Seahawks, 49ers

Reggie Bush - RB - Dolphins The Detroit Free Press confirms that Reggie Bush has "emerged as one of the Lions’ top targets" in free agency.
Lions GM Martin Mayhew has already said that not finding a capable replacement for Jahvid Best was his biggest failure last offseason. Detroit is expected to make one of their first calls when the legal tampering window opens at midnight to Bush. The Falcons and Bengals have also been mentioned as suitors. Related: Lions
Source: Detroit Free Press Mar 8 - 2:55 PM
Cassius Vaughn - DB - Colts The Colts' tender offers to restricted free agents CB Cassius Vaughn and OL Jeff Linkenbach are of the "original pick" variety.
Both Vaughn and Linkenbach are former undrafted free agents, meaning they could be signed away with no required draft-pick compensation under the $1.323 million tender. We wouldn't expect teams to pursue either player, anyway.

Louis Delmas - DB - Lions Free agent FS Louis Delmas says he's leaving Detroit on Friday night after having a "pre-free agency checkup" on his knees, and he intends to test the open market.
"If something could get done today, something would have got done two months ago, during the season," Delmas said when asked about re-signing with the Lions. "The Lions are cheating on me. They’re going to the club every damn night and staying out late night, trying to come back home to Daddy. But it’s all right." Delmas expects as many as eight teams to show interest in him when the tampering window opens.

Jeromey Clary - T - Chargers The Chargers could save $2.3 million in salary cap space by releasing RT Jeromey Clary.
It's surprising they haven't done it yet. Long a turnstile in pass protection, 29-year-old Clary should no longer be on scholarship in San Diego with old GM A.J. Smith run out of town. Clary's 2013 base salary is $4 million.

Don't know why the Eagles keep targeting tackles, it's up the middle where they are paper thin at G and C.
Redskins 2013 Opponents:
Home- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Kansas City, San Diego
Away- Dallas, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, Denver, Oakland
Just a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude, brother!
haha thanks, everyone makes good contributions to this thread.

Dannell Ellerbe - LB - Ravens Free agent ILB Dannell Ellerbe does not anticipate re-signing with the Ravens before midnight's commencement of the negotiating period.
"Starting Saturday, we'll be talking to all 32 teams," Ellerbe's agent said. 27-year-old Ellerbe is the top inside linebacker available in free agency, in what otherwise is a very poor class at the position. The Ravens want Ellerbe back, but he's intent on shopping his wares and maxing out his worth.

Raiders | Carson Palmer could be released
The Oakland Raiders may release QB Carson Palmer this offseason if he does not agree to take a pay cut. The Raiders could go with QB Terrelle Pryor and a quarterback they select in the draft.
Titans | Sen'Derrick Marks expected to hit market
The Tennessee Titans are not expected to reach an agreement with impending free-agent DT Sen'Derrick Marks before the start of free agency.
