Sources tell IBN that Fred Davis will remain in Washington as a member of the Redskins. Last season, Davis had 24 receptions, and 325 yards before being injured. This is great news for quarterback RGIII. He will be able to keep a dangerous weapon (when healthy) at tight end. We all know that a tight end is a quarter back's best friend.

GEORGIA AVENUE.
8900 plus posts and apart from our own guys we brought back we have Pashos and Trueblood as camp bodies at tackle and Merling and Brace as camp bodies on the DLine to talk about![]()
Why would they let him go? Seriously I have been watching film for the past few days and what impresses me most is the redskins offensive line actually. In most of the games I have watched, Chester has played very well. I could see a restructure but that's it. Losing him is a piece of this offense imo.
Say what you want about IncarceratedBob, but he has been right A LOT. Looks like Fred is coming back. TE position solidified.
Kehl signing is solid. He's probably only about 80% as effective as Zo, but he's probably 30% the cost.
CBs market heating up isn't bad considering the prices are staying pretty low. Smith was supposed to set the market and he only got 6M a year, and cap hits are being kept sub-3M. Bodes fairly well for us with Talib in terms of cap hits.
I'd like to see us ink a deal sooner rather than later if we're really in on him. I think the hope is NE drops out by snagging Revis, pushing Talib into our arms on our terms, but if the sticking point is only a couple hundred thousand it might make more sense to make moves and get him on-board. NE so far has been very lukewarm in terms of pushing for him, but if Revis is gone they might start going much harder for him, and we can't keep up with that. If we're far apart though, then I guess we'll just have to wait, but if we're close, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
But if he falls through, maybe get Hall back on the cheap, like a 9M/3Y deal, with cap hit probably below 2.5M this year.
And then we have to choose between older 1 year vets (Rhodes, Huff, Winfield), mid-term vets (Lynch, Arrington, Biggers), or just going straight into the draft.
Edit: Beat me to it. Good for us to get Fred back.
