Why are people high on So'oto? I have multiple Packers friends who disliked him. He is a pre-season guy.

I'm not really expecting him to make the team. He changed positions twice in college (TE to LB to DE) only to switch again in the pro's to OLB. His pro day measurables were great but he seems like a good athlete that doesn't know how to play a specific position.
All that being said I'm not terribly familiar with the guy so hopefully I'm wrong.
It's just me from what I've seen, lol.
He's a playmaker. He's a guy who has decent pass rushing skills, but he forces turnovers and picks passes off. I love OLB with ball skills who can also get around the edge, it expands your abilities.
Let's see what he does, it's just one of those hunches I have. He's definitely a guy worth keeping an eye on if you have to pick someone out.

That's actually a very fair breakdown. He is very raw but he has a fantastic upside. I'm hoping being around the LBs we have on this team has been good for him and he'll have a strong camp.

I've seen the one against the chiefs which I think was a pick 6. He's got the eyes, but I've been trying to read how bad of a decision it actually was. Of course I hope him the best and want our guys to do well. It's just everytime I mention him to a few buddies I always get the "He ****ing sucks" comment lol.

Sleeper may be P Merling on the future list.
As DC9 would say, Here are some morning chicken nuggets:
SS George Wilson, formerly of the Buffalo Bills is seeking interest on the open market. He visited with the Lions yesterday and will meet with the Titans today among many others.
Vikings | Middle-round pick for Percy Harvin?
A pair of NFL executives speaking about a potential trade of Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin said Tuesday, Feb. 12, they would be shocked if the team were able to land anything better than a third-round pick in the NFL Draft.
Vikings | Adrian Peterson believes in Percy Harvin
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson said he believes WR Percy Harvin and the team can overcome the recent drama in their relationship. "I haven't really had the opportunity to talk to him much. But I always look at what you can get from a person, and I know it comes with, 'OK, you gotta deal with this, or deal with that,' but I always feel like that person can overcome whatever it is that they might be struggling with," Peterson said.
Vikings | Adrian Peterson wants Percy Harvin to stay
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson wants WR Percy Harvin to stay with the Vikings. "I don't know if we will or not, but me, individually and in my opinion, I wouldn't trade him," Adrian Peterson told KFAN radio in the Twin Cities on Tuesday, via FoxSportsNorth.com. "No, I wouldn't trade him."
And then....
Vikings | Percy Harvin wants big money
Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin has told at least one teammate he wants to be paid among the top three wide receivers in football.
Patriots | Sebastian Vollmer about to get paid
Impending free-agent OT Sebastian Vollmer (Patriots) may or may not be back with the New England Patriots. It is one of many personnel decisions facing the team's management in the offseason. The market is likely to be about $5-6 million per season for the services of Vollmer, a pure right tackle.
Chiefs | Concerns about Branden Albert?
There have been rumblings that the Kansas City Chiefs are concerned about the back of impending free-agent OT Branden Albert (Chiefs) (back). However, he took a full physical last week, and passed it.

Johnny Knox - WR - Free Agent Multiple sources tell the Chicago Tribune that free agent Johnny Knox is "unlikely to play again."
Officially, Knox sustained a thoracic-lumbar junction fracture-dislocation with neurological involvement back in Week 15 of the 2011 season. "He had to work himself back up to where he could even walk. He had to work to get himself up out of bed," former position coach Darryl Drake said. The nerve damage and instability in Knox's back have capped his athletic ability and speed.

George Wilson is intriguing. Not sure how great of a fit he'd be or what he'd want in terms of money...

I'm very familiar with him, given my location.
I usually shy away from older guys, which is my guess for Marrone letting him go... But as a "stop-gap" kind of player he makes sense. And it feels odd to be able to use the term "stop-gap" for a 31 year old, as at one point a 31 year old was young for us![]()

Maybe everyone just overrates the Bills defense? They were 2nd worst in the league in run D, they were bottom 5 or so in points allowed. They were 10th in passing yards allowed which is great, but they also had the 11th fewest attempts. 20th in interceptions and were middle of the NFL in passing TD's allowed.
With how much talent they supposedly have on D. Mario Williams, Marcel Dareus, Jairus Byrd, two 1st round corners, and I know I'm forgetting another DT and a LB. Add in George Wilson...and...what went wrong?
Are we just overrating their players/D or...what?

George Wilson was the 2nd leading tackler behind Nick Barnett. Both of which were released. I myself believed they would have a top 5 defense when the season started but then again how many times did we look good on paper and couldn't produce. Somehow they just didn't put it all together but I still like Wilson as a SS and Jairus Byrd is a ballhawking centerfielder. I'd take that safety duo over ours any day of the week.

Fred Davis - TE - Redskins A league insider tells the Washington Post that free agent TE Fred Davis could end up with an incentive-laden, multi-year deal.
Coming off an Achilles' tendon tear, Davis is going to be a high-risk signing. Teams will be looking to protect themselves in case he's a shell of himself or aggravates the injury. The Post does note that John Carlson got a five-year, $25 million deal from the Vikings last offseason despite missing the entire 2011 campaign with a torn labrum. That would be a lot of coin for Davis, who could start next season on the PUP list.

Jonathan Stewart - RB - Panthers ESPN's Pat Yasinskas says it's "there's almost no way" the Panthers can keep both DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart on the 2013 roster.
Former GM Marty Hurney handcuffed the Panthers by committing $80.8 million to his two running backs. The logical solution now is to release Williams as a June 1 cut, allowing them the prorate his $4.85 million cap hit over two seasons. Cutting Stewart would result in an immediate $7 million cap hit. The Daily Show remains a strong buy in all Dynasty formats. Related: DeAngelo Williams

After the Keith Burns signing, I'm almost 100% positive Eddie Royal will be in a Redskins uniform within 24 hours of the Chargers releasing him as it was said they would.

Normally I wouldn't agree with you considering we don't have much of a need at WR, but Shanny's history with Royal, the fact that Royal is a local kid, and that he can return punts adds some weight to your prediction. That being said, I don't think it will happen. We're too strapped for cash and WR is one of the least of our worries.
