Wow, the franchise tag for Corners is looking like it's going to be about $10 million for 2013... i'm guessing most teams are either going to sign their CB's before FA or they will be forced to let them test the market... No CB should receive the tag IMO.

on the Richard Seymour front, he is said to be looking to sign with a playoff contender, naturally.

I am not really into big name, older players, but he is certainly a guy I've been advocating for... He's the most versatile DLineman I think I've ever seen and if we are on a run, I can't see why not.

Haha, I think I only know of him because of you. Davis signed for 1-2 years with Kelce waiting in the wings seems like a reasonable solution to the TE problem. As I said, I like Paulsen, but I like the idea of potential over steady decent play (when reasonable).

I am intrigued by a guy like Jared Cook, but I think many are underestimating the strides Davis made in his blocking. Davis seems like far and away the more complete player, and he's homegrown. With that said, Davis brings his own 'baggage', which is why I like the Kelce idea.

I think that it was more that he was beat out by Vontez Burfict. Kindle also plays outside, Muck is more of an inside backer.

We can have a Texas line (Muck, Keenan, Kindle, and Rak) and we can have a mixed line (Kerrigan, Jackson, Riley, Zo/Brad Jones). Lol.

If Kelce comes here, I'm giving him 50% of the snaps... He blocks like an Olineman and just mauls defending linebackers. He lines up in WR sets, and draws the secondary deep. He can also stand shallow and account for the middle of the field.

Fortunately, as a rookie, we could afford to let Davis maintain his role in the offense and not overstress that achilles while Kelce matures in the offense.

I was thinking he was beat out by Maulauga... which is atrocious lol. But I'm of the type to give anyone a shot. I want a team of fighters not bread winners.

I've got Kelce in my draft wishlist. Some have mentioned Jared Cook in FA. He would be a nice signing for us. Bennet might also be a possiblity. TE don't cost much in FA.

So word is Greg Jennings will be looking for a "Vincent Jackson-like" contract.... 5 yr, 55 million... Good luck!

I'm still intrigued by Louis Murphy if we are looking for WR's at all. Wouldn't command a big pay day and if he has his mind right, this is the best offense for him to flourish.

    Burfict, Vontaze LB 6-1 245
    Howard, Thomas LB 6-3 245
    Lamur, Emmanuel LB 6-4 232
    Lawson, Manny LB 6-5 240
    Maualuga, Rey LB 6-2 250
    Maybin, Aaron LB 6-4 240
    Moch, Dontay LB 6-2 255
    Rey, Vincent LB 6-2 250
    Schaffer, J.K. LB 6-0 232
    Skuta, Dan LB 6-2 250

I see some guys in there he should've been able to beat out for teams at a minimum. I was high on him coming out of the draft, so I'll be rooting for him to make the 53 for the sake of me being right, lol.

But, I did want us to take him over Perry Riley, so epic fail on me there.

Kelce, yes! We have spoke of this before my friend. That wishlist is pretty solid. I thought you used to have TJ McDonald in there?

Jared cook, only if Freddy D doesn't resign. His numbers dropped drastically this year and you have to wonder if he'll ever reach his full potential.

Bennet is almost a guaranteed Giant. I don't see him leaving NY, as much as I would love him here, he's mentioned numerous times how much he loves being in NY and wants to bring his brother to play there too.

Dustin Keller (NYJ) - Keller finished his contract year in nightmarish fashion. With the turmoil in New York, the Jets aren't expected to re- sign Keller. If rumors materialize and Keller lands in a city with a legitimate quarterback, he could be signed at bargain price this offseason. Given his situation over the past few seasons, it's difficult to evaluate his true ability, but the injury of a year ago should reduce the monetary risk associated with the decision.

Damn my dry sense of humor...

I was joking about how VJax was a gift for Josh Freeman (jersey #5) so if Jennings wanted a VJax like contract he'd have to go to another QB who wears #5.

EDIT: I think he goes to Miami.

You're good dude, no worries... I was just lost for a bit.

Agreed, I think he goes to Miami too, especially if they let Hartline walk
