Wow, Raiders sign a guy then may cut him the next year due to cap issues and OL scheme changes. I am so glad that the Skins no longer resemble the Raiders organization fiasco. Hopefully Brisiel drives down the market price for Lichtensteiger.

Yeah, they changed to the ZBS for one year and then want to change back immediately. The ZBS takes longer than a year to acquire the necessary guys and adjust to it.

But look at it this way, we play them next season.

like the look of this signing, along with Merling looks like we are trying to shore up our DL depth without spending big or targeting DL in the draft.

Agree. I'm done with Golston. He's been a great guy and has a good motor, but he was never a good fit in the 3-4. I'd love to keep one extra D-Lineman this year (7) and one less safety. The front 7 is what makes the 3-4 go and with all the injuries, we just didn't get enough pressure this year.

I believe his initial contract was for one year. To my knowledge only Kyle and Morrocco have signed (three year extensions). Raheem has interviewed with a couple of teams for DC job but hasn't been hired yet.

We'll probably hear something on him once all of the openings he may be after have been exhausted. TK said that Raheem was likely the dude, but after 7-0 Mike wants to keep it status quo.
