Yes, that's one of his strengths. I think he will eventually prove to be the solution at the other ILB spot. But mostly because I trust that our scouts saw that in him, because he wasn't a guy I was very familiar with coming out. But Riley was the same way, and he was what we hoped as well.
I know that's not the best way to predict roster moves, but I now trust this FO and our scouting. I now look at prospects we draft with an open mind, rather than assuming the worst like I did pre-Shanahan. If we use a pick on a player and that guy sees the field, I am more likely to believe in their long-term potential here than I would have 2-3 years ago.
