I'd go as far as saying he's top 5 FB in the league just from watching him.

Dolphins | Brian Hartline close to re-signing
The Miami Dolphins are close to re-signing WR Brian Hartline to a multiyear deal worth between $6 million and $6.5 million per season.
Redskins | Discussing extension with Darrel Young
The Washington Redskins are discussing a long-term deal with FB Darrel Young.
Darrel Young - RB - Redskins The Redskins have reportedly discussed a long-term deal with restricted free agent FB Darrel Young.
Young paved the way for Alfred Morris' eye-opening rookie season, appearing in all 16 games as a true lead-blocker. There's no urgency on deal because the Redskins can likely retain Young via a $1.323 right-of-first-refusal tender.

Good, Young is a great player. He can lead block and is also a threat out of the backfield. The dude has running after the catch ability that is rare for a FB.
Patriots | Still talking to Aqib Talib
The New England Patriots are still talking to free-agent CB Aqib Talib and want to re-sign him. However, nothing seems imminent.
Glad to see DY is in the plans long term.

If we can get Davis 1 year for $2M thats a no-brainer. Assuming he'll be healthy.

Rob Bironas - K - Titans Beat writer Jim Wyatt still expects the Titans to re-sign free agent K Rob Bironas.
The Titans declined to use their franchise tag on Bironas, but there's plenty of interest on both sides. He's spent all eight of his NFL seasons in Nashville, making 85.6 percent of his field goals.

LeGarrette Blount - RB - Buccaneers GM Mark Dominik said he's considering using the first-round tender on restricted free agent LeGarrette Blount.
Dominik conceded he doesn't want to leave himself short at the running back position in a run-based attack. However, using a $2.879 million first-round tender on Blount would be overkill. No one is going to give up any first- or second-day draft picks for a replaceable two-down back with a questionable attitude.

Cullen Jenkins - DL - Free Agent Free agent DL Cullen Jenkins is scheduled to visit the Raiders Wednesday.
Jenkins is making use of his time in the Northwest. He also visited the Seahawks on Monday and the 49ers Wednesday following last week's meeting with the Giants. Jenkins' ability to rush the passer from the interior is appealing. Related: Raiders

He sounds like he's coming along very well in terms of rehab. Obviously under normal circumstances I'd be concerned about his rehab this late in the free agency process, but it seems like no moves are being made anywhere, so I'm going based on reports that he was medically cleared.
And if 2M a year (with likely none of it guaranteed) is all it takes, then that's a huge steal if he's 100%.
If he performs he will get it all on the backend next year. And he'll have earned it. That's all I ask as a fan is to show us. I know none of us work in the front office, but I suspect they are in the same boat. "We want to pay you Fred, and we will. Take this 2 mil for one year and we'll see what you have."
I'm all about it.

Taylor Mays - DB - Bengals Bengals SS Taylor Mays played on just 22.8 percent of the defensive snaps in 2012. (Lot of teams in for a high round Safety)
Once Chris Crocker got healthy ahead of Week 5, Mays' playing time really went in the tank. He's a big hitter, but gets exposed in coverage and isn't a great blitzer. Defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer claims Mays will have a bigger role in 2013, but he'll have to earn it. The Cincinnati Enquirer expects the Bengals to use a high draft pick on a safety.

I keep seeing that (maybe from you) i think most people are hard pressed to name 5 true fullbacks let alone 5 good ones. To say he is top five in a group of maybe ten isn't all that exciting. don't get me wrong he is quality, but trying to quantify that way seems odd to me.
We work together and your name is Richard and I call you Dick and you hate it. You ask me to stop. I refuse, so you go to HR and they say "well he has been calling you Dick for several months so we think you set the precedence, sorry". Frustrated you ask me again." Hey man stop calling me Dick" I say "Sorry Dick, it's tradition, HR said so" Well in that scenario there is only one dick and it aint Richard. Why be that guy?
