Bowen counts 6m towards the cap. Merriweather counts 4.5m. Also, I'm not sure I'd count on Merriweather given how injured he was last year.

Transitive property doesn't work in sports. Us beating the Ravens is no indication at all of how close we are to being the same caliber of team that the 49ers are. They are well ahead of us and will only have widened the gap by the start of next season.

We would have been able to run with the 49ers with a healthy RG3. They have a good defense, but our offense was better. Their offense was pretty good, but we would have been able to run with them.

Carriker and Bowen restructures would free up a lot. Our DL is essentially set for the next 3-4 years, which is nice.

Where are you getting the 4.5 million for Meriweather? I'm seeing 2.9 million. Cutting him saves only 1.3 million.

Cruz situation:Any team can make an offer. Will cost 2.879 mil, 1st round pick, and you need to ink new deal. NYG has 7 days to match offer.

So this is what it would cost to get Cruz....dont know why a team with multiple 1st's wouldn't go after him.
