As for there being a "high chance" we'll match whatever offer he gets. I am assuming that's a gut feel? Because I haven't stumbled on any rumors or statements of that kind in recent days. I guess we will see. The market for corners seems saturated right now. And if the team wants to go younger at that position it won't be too hard. Toler and Cox are younger than Hall.

Yeah, just my gut feel based on what you just mentioned about the saturated corners market as well as the coaching staff's fondness of Hall. I think he's going to find that it's a soft market for him and accept what we think he's worth or close to it.
I get we might just want to totally move on, but like I said, Mike's style is to let a player he likes (but doesn't agree with on their worth) to go test the market while giving us first dibs to match. You might think the CB market being saturated means it's more likely we move on, but I don't. I think it means Hall will have to find out he's not worth what he thinks.

Moss' cap number is $6.1 million, and the Redskins could save $4.5 million against the cap by releasing him. With the Redskins wanting to go out and sign a couple of free agents, the team needs to clear some space. Washington is currently $3 million over the cap, but they could save $12.5 million by releasing Moss and DeAngelo Hall.

the Skins tried to pick up Pashos in the past, haven't they?

Tony Pashos? Looks like Shanny has a thing for banged up veteran right tackles.
lol, no winners in that one.
Shanahan has always looked at Olinemen in that way, except at LT. Same way he looks at RB. Very specific skillsets that he believes he has an eye for that will translate to the ZBS. Our entire Oline is made up of unwanted guys really except Trent... I believe the Broncos Oline was the same way while he was there.

According to the NFL Management Council we are 2.9 under. According to every writer in America, we are a 3 over. Flip a coin. We will be under by Tuesday at 4pm.

Brian Schaefering - DL - Free Agent
The Cowboys will not tender an offer to exclusive rights free agent DL Brian Schaefering.
Schaefering was signed by the Cowboys in December, and he made three tackles in three games with the team. He turns 30 in August.

Danny McCray - DB - Cowboys
Cowboys tendered restricted free agent S Danny McCray at the original-round level.
The tender will pay McCray $1.323 million in 2013. McCray started ten games in 2012 and recorded 71 tackles and an interception. He's been the Cowboys' top special teams player for the last couple of seasons, and he'll go back to that role this upcoming season.

Brian Hoyer - QB - Cardinals
Cardinals tendered restricted free agent Brian Hoyer at the second-round level.
This was the expected outcome after it had been rumored that "multiple teams" were "intrigued" by Hoyer in a weak quarterback market. The second-round tender will pay Hoyer $2.023 million in 2013, and it will undoubtedly keep interested teams from trying to sign him away.
