It is no favor to us this year, but next year, we will be thanking Mara for all of the free money we will have. We wont be losing any of our own stars for probably the first time in my career as a skins fan.

We will have nowhere near the cap room available that some other teams will due to a 2 year head start on rolling over cap..... Compared to our 18 million most of which will be tied up in extensions to our own players our 18 million s peanuts

Per a source "informed of the negotiations," the Dolphins have talked to Long on Friday, and are "trying to bridge the gap they've had in previous negotiations." The Rams' offer clearly isn't yet to Long's liking, so the Dolphins should have a legit chance to keep their blindside protector.
