If Titus Young is cut... maybe? Moss ain't getting younger, and he can return punts.

Titus Young is not what we need here.. He is all about himself..
Thanks PG!
Thanks DC9 in April they increased the limit to 90 and I stand corrected. This number is 53 roster, 8 practice squad and 29 [IR,PUP, Draft Picks and unable to preform]Roster spots for training camp will be increased til cut down in August and waive IR players if we need the room to stay at 90 for training and OTA.
Right. I was just asking if there was a limit of guys that we can have on the PUP. He said a total of 80. I was just asking if that included Active, IR, Practice, and PUP. It looks like we could have a few PUP slots to start the season out. Beginning with 10, among others.
I was just curious. Trying to plan some stuff out ahead of time.

I agree with SemperFi on this one. The "Young Sr" on the back of jersey tells you everything you need to know. And no, it's not that he loves his son (not saying he doesn't, but that's totally a "me" move).
EDIT: And Moss is not getting any younger... but he puts every ounce he has into this team and leaves it on the field. Leading the team in touchdown receptions this year, being a total team guy on and off the field, etc.

Dear lord, no. Shanahan and Bruce have made it clear the type of players they want are mature team players who also have ability.
Titus Young is anything but that first description. He has ability, but he's a knucklehead. I'd rather give guys like Aldrick or Dezmon the reps he'd get.
the 80 number was just from when they open training camp it's the allowed number of players on team... I don't think there is a limit to the PUP because technically they are not on the roster... When they are elevated to the active 53, one player must be dropped. So, it does not count against the final 53.

That's just it, I think we have the guys to handle WR. First off the way they spread the ball around there is no true no. 1, no. 2 etc, etc. Some games they use guys no one sees coming. I think with the guys we have on hand a nice rounded out core is already there. I would like to see more of Dezmon and Aldrick. You also have Wilson getting surgery so he should be better, Hank developing, Moss contributing and Garcon being the best of the bunch. I don't see the need but I think others are looking for that one dominate guy, I don't think that is what the team is after.

Griffin said that he was going to watch the game with his family and that he will never attend a Super Bowl if he needs a ticket to get in.
I agree completely.![]()
That being said, this discussion is a good one because I think I realized what should've been clarified better in order to come to common ground. Really, we're all saying pretty much the same thing, we're just confusing some terms a bit. The key term to me is what "BPA" means. It never meant, to me at least, some arbitrary list of players that are, from top to bottom, the best in order. It's a draft board created by our FO that fits both our organizational needs and wants in players and, therefore, already includes those factors you listed. Our BPA will not be the same as any other team's BPA for the most part since our board was created with a different mind set exclusively FOR the Redskins. So, in that sense, when I'm arguing for BPA exclusively with the condition of having addressed our major needs in the secondary via FA, it includes the factors you mentioned. If, for instance, we had two players at different positions graded out exactly the same, we'd put the player at a position more likely to be "needed" presently or later on ahead of the other.
Now, while the draft is taking place, what usually occurs is that coaches see the board and when they get close to their pick, they see a number of players available at different positions graded there and, instead of following the board exactly (which would be exclusively BPA), they pick the player at a position they deemed more "needed", even if he was further down on the board a few spots. That's what I'm saying we shouldn't do at all if we address our major needs via FA, and I think we're all in agreement on this.
But, who knows.![]()
