Um, that's not everyone's sentiment. Certainly isn't mine. Zo's a beast on special teams and can play all four linebacker positions. You don't just find guys like that anywhere.

I agree...I wish we can stick our toes in the WInston pool lol He's seriously the 1 guy I want more than anything in FA. We need to protect RG3!

Love that we are building from within...All 4 of these players that we are working on and have signed are solid contributors and will only get better with time. Continuity in the NFL is a must.

When it comes to Kory, he didn't play his best football. Physically he was coming back from a knee, but he also false started. Like a lot. LeRib came in and played as well as LeRib did. I don't know about Gettis over Chester, but there's some guards in this draft that could see spot duty. We overpaid Chester to get him in the first place (then again everyone sort of overpays for free agents), and if he knee issues are too big it might be worth it to get him, especially if Gettis was pushing him in practice.

In the draft you've got guys like David Quessenbary or Brian Schwenke who I think can be day one starters at the guard position. Don't know about free agency but Mike's not going to cut Chester and let Lich walk without a plan.

But you never know who's going to be there in the draft when we pick and I think offensive line is one of our deeper positions right now. Lichtensteiger is pretty cheap for his play and would likely be as cheap as anyone else we'd sign to replace him unless we go with Hurt and a rookie. I'm just saying I think we let one of them (Lichtensteiger/Chester) walk for cap reasons but hopefully not both, even if LeRibeus is ready to start.

I guess we'll find out who's staying and who's going pretty soon.

The was an insider tweet yesterday I think it was suggesting his knee is in bad shape & a pay cut may well be something he has to consider to stick around. Or words to that effect.

I'm not saying it's not true about his knee(s), but I find it really strange if he has some type of issue he didn't go under the knife right after the season ended.

What's the garunteed money? It's 7 correct? You spread 7 over 5. It can get up to 12 if he hits escalators.

5.5 Mil signing bonus (spread over 5 years), 1.8 mil salary in 2012 (all guaranteed). 3.8 mil salary in 2013. 200K per year workout bonus. Voids after 2013 = 2 yrs/11.5 mil. 12 with incentives.

Yeah, fair enough. I too think we will wind up with enough cap space to make some solid additions. I'd guess someone we've currently gonna will have to make way though.
