Not surprised. Even if Chester's around, I wouldn't be too surprised to see Gettis taking over soon too at LG. Just saying we could do a lot worse than Lichtensteiger as depth at both Guard and Center. Especially if we're considering giving Chester his walking papers.

Plus you know he'd still line up anywhere we ask him to.

Wouldn't be pointless. Ill-advised maybe (although the numbers are small enough that I wouldn't waste much time worrying about them), if they are truly that concerned about his health. If so, he should just be let go.

    Ricky Jean-Francois - DL - 49ers

The Nashville Tennessean reports the Titans are interested in free agent DL Ricky Jean-Francois.
Jean-Francois is a hot commodity, and the list of teams interested in him keeps growing. He'd play defensive tackle in Tennessee's 4-3 if signed. The Titans will likely need to replace free agent DT Sen'Derrick Marks on the interior.

Only fresh (I think) info I have is no deal yet on Tony Pashos & incumbent Tyler Polumbus has drawn interest from 1 team (not #Redskins yet)

Cutting him would be pretty pointless, but I'm not repeating what you said, I'm clarifying that it is 12 mil over two years as opposed to a 5 year, 12 mil deal as you said earlier.

Not wanting Zo back at a good price is insane. He is everything we need on our team.

You mean RG - LG is where Lich started and we expect LeRibus to take over.

You will hear lots of names that we are talking to - some we wil be some will be agents leaking information to remind the league their client is alive. Think we are still talking to Pashos though.

But we at ES will know who they are!

I appreciate that. When this started five pages ago it was because someone said we should cut Josh Morgan. No chance we will find someone who is at his skill for less money.

On the Rob Jackson deal that @john_keim reported - it should be done by the AM is what I was told. Only a 1 yr. deal & not the RFA tender.

I believe we'd save 700,000. Which even a minimum salary player would take up about half that. So yeah, pointless, at least in terms of this year. If you're making the move with 2014 in mind then there is some logic behind it.

Sounds delicious. Exactly what we need to see what happens with Orakpo and we'll be living without the penalty next year when it all comes up again.
