I'd love to have a receiver like Percy Harvin but his injuries scare the hell outta me.

I don't think we can afford him either but he would definitely get at least close to the number of starting snaps he got this year if we used him as we should which would be lining up in the backfield with Morris and also in the slot and also on punt and kickoff returns. He would have a lot of touches and chances to impact the game and would definitely make life easier for Morris and Griffin

"I think Bush goes to a place like the Lions. He can fill the role Javhid Best seemed to be destined to never fill, and likely have a FAR better shot at getting significant carries behind Kevin Smith and LeShoure".
If Lions do that, then I would be open to Skins giving Best a look. Great player if able to stay on the field.

His career is probably over. The Lions kept giving him chances to "get better" because they wanted him to have been in the NFL for 3 years before officially telling him they'd never clear him to play. This is because you must be in the league for 3 years for certain long-term health benefits. No NFL team will let Best back on the field, the way concussions and long term brain damage are in the spot light.
And I say this as a HUGE Best fan who just this past offseason traded for him when his stock was lowest in three different dynasty leagues. I gambled. I lost. I highly doubt he ever sees the field again.
Happy OFFICIAL start to the 2013-2014 Offseason:
Morning/late yesterday evening nuggets from rotoworld.com:
Ed Reed Fans:
Impending free agent Ed Reed, 34, insists he plans to play in 2013.
"This is not it. I'm not done," said Reed. "I'll reassess things the way I always do and we'll tune in and get back to you all. It's all about the moment. I'm not even thinking about this. I love this game. If I'm able to do it, I'll be doing it." It certainly sounds like Reed will be back, but he does leave the door cracked slightly for himself to walk out. CBS' Jason La Canfora said on Sunday that "a lot of people believe" Reed will sign with the Colts.
Ellerbe Fans:
Impending free agent ILB Dannell Ellerbe would prefer to re-sign with the Ravens, but he acknowledges that "it's a business."
It's the same stock answer Ellerbe gave after the regular season. "I would love to be here," Ellerbe said. "Baltimore is where I got my start, but it's not up to me. It's out of my control. The Ravens know how I feel. I hope we can work something out." Baltimore is expected to make Ellerbe a priority this offseason, as he's the heir apparent to Ray Lewis at inside 'backer.
Greg Jennings Fans:
The Miami Herald's "sense" is that the Dolphins will pursue free agent Mike Wallace, with free agent Greg Jennings "also in the mix."
Jennings' relationship with coach Joe Philbin has made him a frequent target of Dolphins rumors, but it's Wallace who's one of the league's fastest players and entering his prime. However, Wallace should command a much larger commitment, both in years and dollars. That might not be a problem for Miami, as a "close associate" of owner Stephen Ross tells the Herald he's prepared to "spend a lot of money."

Let the Dolphins load up on Jennings and Wallace. They still won't be a threat and will keep those players out the hands of real contenders we will have to face.
Redskins | Chris Chester could be asked to restructure deal
Washington Redskins OG Chris Chester could be a candidate to restructure his contract this offseason in order to open up some salary cap space.
Redskins | Jammal Brown expected to be released
The Washington Redskins are expected to release OT Jammal Brown this offseason.
Redskins | London Fletcher wants HGH testing
Washington Redskins LB London Fletcher said he wants the NFL Players Association to allow human growth hormone testing because he believes some players may be cheating. "I've got a message for my union: Stop the posturing and get the HGH testing done," Fletcher said. "It's time to get it done. You know, I think it's more prevalent in our league than you would think. There's probably more than 10 percent of guys taking HGH. And we have to get it out."
(Probably why Ray Lewis cries so much... too much estrogen, IMO.)

Giants | Ahmad Bradshaw hopes to remain
New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw said that he hopes to remain with the team but understands the team is in a tight salary cap situation. He said he has not heard from the team at this point about his contract which he believes is a good thing.
I didn't even think to restructure Chester. I know we reached a little for him, but when you pm;u hear his name called twice a year for a false start, that's a good player. He has been solid. Give him one more year and spread that money out please!
EDIT: and lol @ Fletch. I love that dude.

Believe if you are on PUP at training camp; you can only us fitness center and are not even able to play catch with receivers.
I didn't realize that Chester went to my High School until the Dallas Sunday nighter to end the season and he announced it in the early lineup deal they do where players typically announce their college. Go Tustin High! (yes, I realize this post will interest only me here lol)

Believe Chester signed a 5 year contract which spead out his signing bonus plus salary.
He is 30 and not sure of benefit to back loading his contract longer.
