this isn't a draft thread, but I have a hard time seeing him go before the 3rd. Either way, he wouldn't start on this team next year if Minnifield pans out well and we can get a true Free Safety. I think we all know having a true FS will solve a lot of problems on this defense.

    Top of my FA's list:

    Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB
    Sam Shields - CB

Why you ask? Because they both have 98 and 97 speed in Madden, and that would help out my virtual defense tremendously....

I didn't see Young, he's definitely a keeper, my bad. But the rest are expendable. Polumbus would be good depth though. I wouldn't pay for Davis, he was good but not so good that I'd want to pay him coming off an achilles. You can find tight ends.

Correct me if im wrong but isn't Clady a left tackle so why do so many of us want him? move him to right tackle? Don't think he would go for that.
    Thanks Soup

    Would love that for Madden.

But in all seriousness...Sam Shields will not leave GB. No one ever does.

Money makes people do a lot of things. People want Clady because Clady is Shanahans product. What they simply don't realize is that you should instead give Shanahan a draft pick in an attempt to get a OL he likes, as it is much more cost effective especially with the cap.

And don't forget, Brown was a left tackle.

    15. Please maintain respectable size signatures within the limitations set herein.

Maintaining reasonable size signatures minimizes the amount of load time needed to access a given page. Furthermore, it reduces the amount of scrolling required of users perusing threads. Signatures should not exceed 550 pixels in width and 200 pixels in height. These dimensions are not a guideline, they are a rule. It is the standard dimension for the entire signature. Regardless of the quantity of photos posted, the sum area of all the photos must not exceed the stated size limitations. In addition, signatures should not contain any more than 10 lines of text. The sum total of the height (i.e. 200 pixels) INCLUDES text or any combination of images and text.

Insurance in case Carriker doesn't fully recover from his ACL injury?
He actually reminds me of the Kentwan Balmer pickup a couple years ago. Minimal risk on a high talent relatively young player.

More importantly, Ryan didn't seem to have a good answer for us, we balled out in game one, and in game two he just sort of stuck two safeties deep and threw his hands up when we ran it down his throat all night. I'd hate to think someone competent might take his place.

What are people's thoughts on Ryan Harris. He's currently with Houston, playing in their zone blocking scheme. He was seemingly rescued off the scrap heap. I don't know if he'd be an upgrade over Polumbus, but if Houston doesn't retain him for backup purposes he probably comes cheap and will know the system reasonably well.

I'm just glad we don't have to play the Seahawks again. That McQuistan guy on their offensive line still gives me nightmares. The only scary Look-a-Like thread I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure he is not human.

is it me or has the 08 draft worked to be one of those disappointing drafts?
