He's also trying to spin what he said earlier to make it more acceptable to his future employer. I think this whole thing started when Griffin said he'd rather be compared to Aaron Rodger than Cam Newton. That doesn't mean he's pushing away from black people. A lot of people are tired of the same lazy comparisons. That's what annoyed Warren Moon. Look at these guys as individuals and stop trying to group them by race.

I think it was when he said he wants to be called a "great QB", not a "great black QB", but I could be mistaken.

Who the hell is Rob Parker and why do people listen to him anyways? Im not trying to be cute here, I don't get ESPN so I wouldnt be able to tell you who sits at the SportsCenter anchor desk, so please someone enlighten me, who is this guy and where did he come from?

All I know if this guy is he put his foot in his mouth, got suspended for 30 days then proceeds to put his other foot in his mouth as soon as he removes the first one.

I would be dissapointed if ESPN continues to hire this guy....it would be dispicable.

You hear Tom Joyner's comparison of Mike Shanny? Talk about ridiculous!

Nothing like reaggravating a serious injury...

The guy has been fired. Outstanding. Now the best thing we can do to make sure he gains nothing from his comments. Never click on anything related to Rob Parker again.

Technically, his contract was not renewd, kinda a cop out by ESPN, but I'm glad the guy lost his job.
And before anyone says I'm mean, I've been unemployed for two and a half years and it does suck and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but he doesn't deserve his job given his behavior.

    Parker's smart.

Waited to make these comments until RGIII was down for sure so that he would be able to run away.

And I think it's now clear to everyone that his 'apology' was just to cover his butt. He didn't regret anything he said. Heck, even now he was saying it was taken out of context. How is it taken out of context when people watch the whole interview? Guy is a chump.
