You think she is stunning and some of us don't. I see women better looking then her at the gym on a regular basis. I'm sure there has been MANY times where someone else would point out how gorgeous a woman is and you don't see it.

I had no idea who she was until the title game and when people were drooling over her I had to see what it was all about. I was not overly impressed consdiering the hype.. The hype is exactly why we are having this conversation.

Oh, I agree that she might not be considered stunning to some, but to say she is average or ok, I just can't agree with. I'm not saying she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, but I think some are just not giving her enough credit for her looks.

we all have different tastes, we all have hang ups that make us view things differenlty, some of us are hipsters and just go against the mainstream, others just get off being contradictory.

But there are some things in life that are undeniable ... like Miss Webb being beautiful. I didn't say the most beautiful ... but, she should, in theory, make every man's cut for his beautiful women team. Whether she barely makes it or is a shoe in is a different story.

If you don't agree ... you are either married to Helen of Troy or you just don't have developed taste in women!

I agree. Like I said, she's not for everyone, but to flat out deny her looks is just ridiculous IMO.

Everyone hasn't "dissed" Webb. I just said I didn't see what all the fuss was about. I see better-looking women than her all the time. You DO realize not everyone has the same taste in women, right?

She is definitely attractive. She just isn't close to the hottest woman on earth, as you and a few others are making her out to be.

Btw, I take it none of you guys have been to Alabama? I mean, I'm not sure being crowned Miss "Alabama" is saying a whole helluva lot..

I think it was people saying she was manish because of her jawline or saying she's average or ok is where the problem is. At least after saying she was ok to you, you at least said she's attractive. Like you said, everyone's taste is different, but to deny that she's anything but attractive is just foolish. No, she's not the hottest woman on earth and I myself have seen women just as attractive and maybe more attractive than her, but I don't know why anyone would deny that she isn't attractive.

Brent said nothing wrong, ESPN was ridiculous in apologizing to a beauty queen because a man looked at her and commented on her beauty.

Next ESPN will apologize to plumbers for getting water on themselves.

I can't believe anyone took this seriously. He was obviously joking around. Does anyone think if he was actually trying to steal another man's girlfriend he would be seducing her with Wing Stop? Darnell Docket is a joker, he was being funny and AJ McCarron clearly saw that.

This. I went to Paint Branch with Dock we still hang every now and then. The folks that REALLY know him realize that he's a joker 24/7, been like that since high school. That sounded like he was joking (especially when he mentions taking her to Wing Stop) and if she responded then so be it, if she doesn't then who cares. Don't take this too seriously.

Things in Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron's life were moving along pretty swell until this Monday, when ESPN commentator Brent Musburger made his girlfriend, Miss Alabama 2012 Katherine Webb, a national superstar. Webb now has more than 261,000 Twitter followers, has hordes of people searching "Katherine Webb hot" on Google, and will appear in this year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. To make matters worse, a user named "Creepy M" has created an official White House petition to have AJ McCarron deported " Brent Musberger can steal his girlfriend."

I actually think Brent made a couple references to how pretty AJ's girlfriend was and at some point realized AJ's mom was in the shot also. She's a fine-looking woman also, of course a bit older. I think Brent realized how rude it would be to praise one but not the other, and he tried to swerve (awkwardly and unsuccessfully) and pretend his comments were meant for both women. Something like "if you're a QB for Alabama you get very nice-looking women around you". Which would include both the girlfriend and the mom, but he did it so awkwardly it came off as obsessing on the young one.

The apology was just silly. Stupid. And demeaning to a harmless man for a totally minor transgression.
