Garrett's offense failed to score when we needed. Ryan's defense was missing 7 starters. He did what he could with what he had. Didn't really deserve to be fired.

Hopefully that means we bring in Lovie Smith.

Way to completely contradict yourself within the first 3 posts.

Exactly. People keep talking about the injuries but fail to note that Dallas gave up a ton of points before the injuries as well. A lot of people point to the Sean Lee injury as the watershed moment of the season but in the first five games this they gave up 27, 34 and 31 points. Rob Ryan has only had a defense ranked in the top half of the league once (13th) in his nine year career as a coordinator.

Rob Ryan is not employed 5 mins after he was fired, Jerry Jones is clueless about being a GM and they still have Jason Garrett. Life is still good. Jerry said he wanted to make them uncomfortable. Firing Rob Ryan and the RB coach doesn't make anyone uncomfortable. Firing the HC and cutting bait with Tony Romo will make them uncomfortable. But I am glad that he isn't that smart.

I have a feeling Jerry will be hiring/firing lots of DCs over the next decade.

Why doens't the guy just name himself head coach? You know he wants to do it

We're going to have Norv Turner, Jerry Jones and Monte Kiffin lmao.

Solid pedigrees on Turner and Kiffen. Just hoping they can work some magic and I will gladly go back to the 4-3.

Looks like a switch back to the 4-3. IMO, that's a mistake in today's pass happy league. You're taking a lot of speed off the field.

But, the Giants have had success. All you need to do is find 4 pro bowl down lineman in the draft, after you've drafted your franchise QB of course.

However, Kiffin is a good coach. This will be a strong hire if they can land him.

Norv Turner is a mistake. His scheme is a dinosaur.

The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."

Oregon’s dominance of Kiffin’s defense is especially alarming. The Ducks racked up 730 total yards in their win at Los Angeles Coliseum, with running back Kenjon Barner rushing for 321 yards and five touchdowns.

Chip Kelly stayed at Oregon instead of taking the Eagles’ job, but the Cowboys will still have to face a team that runs a lot of zone read out of the spread twice per season, assuming Robert Griffin III recovers from his serious knee injury. The Redskins just so happen to be the team that ended the Cowboys' season and could dominate the division for the next decade.

How can the Cowboys be confident that Kiffin can help them catch up with the Redskins?

Tampa two got figured out, let alone D. Ware has never played with his hand in the dirt or the corners being zone type corners, they are press corners. This is a bad fit, good.

Plus Stephen A. Smith rips the firing and Jones....... http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:8827980

Word is its a 4-3. We are not using the Tampa 2. Kiffin already stated he will let Mo and Carr play man coverage instead of zone. I think we will line up like

DE: Ware DT: Ratliff DT: Lissemore DE: Hatcher/Crawford
WLB: Carter ILB: Lee SLB: Spencer (or a new addition)
    CB: Carr CB: Claiborne
SS: Sensabaugh FS: Church (or a new addition)

The days of rushing Marcus Spears and Kenyon Coleman are over!!!!

BTW, Word is we are coming to get Raheem Morris from you guys

I don't disagree with you often but when I do It's usually over the Cowboys, lol. Wrong fit, wrong scheme.

No worries, you still have the best GM we could ever hope for.
