Private guns against US military is silly, but private guns against harassment by local authorities could actually help.

Y So, you read the constitution and now you're an expert? Did you bother reading over 200 years of opinions interpreting the constitution? Did you bother listening to anyone about what the constitution means.
You may not know this, but this is a big pet peeve of mine. Just. Ecause you read the constitution, which is about 3 pages long by the way, does not indicate you have any idea what it means.
What would A World Without Lawyers be like?
I read it and didn't find it that useful. It's just one of those made up conversations where one guy makes all of his arguments and comes across as completely reasonable while the other fictitious people raise weak counters, admit they don't know anything, and are bowled over by the force of his undeniable logic. It's completely one-sided.
The article does, however, present the gun rights side pretty well, although it kind of annoys me with its stereotypical "common man who happens to know everything about history and law shows up the elitist egghead lawyer" ending. That's one of my pet peeves.

"The Internet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhea: massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind-boggling amounts of excrement when you least expect it" - I wish I had said this.
Here's Jesse Ventura against Pierce Morgan on gun control. He manages to make the same argument as Alex Jones without looking like a loon.
Not saying I totally agree, but I always did like Ventura.
The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "
Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.
The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."

Bring on Jessie. I think he might run for President in 2016 if he feels there's noone out there.
Stereotypical? Sounds like to me "Mac" was an attorney, guess the stereotype comes into play by you associating him as a common man because he shoots guns and is on the oppossing side of your arguement.
Guess his lawyer friend must call upon Mac and his infinite common man wisdom whenever his lofty intelligence and knowledge can't be burdened with such petty things as the Constitution and more specifically, the Bill of Rights. LolBut I turned back to Mac for a moment and asked, “The lawyer friend you found this information for...were you giving him legal advice, doing research for him, or what?”
How's the air up there? LMAO!

Frustrating isn't it? Trying to force your POV on people for them to simply ignore it and brush it aside like it's nonsense. I know it's difficult to reside in a place in this world where your superior POV isn't embraced by the mouth breathing common folk; really, I get it.
However, before simply brushing it off as a complete fabrication, maybe you should do a little research on John MacDougall the libertarian who just happens to be a former classmate of the writer in this particular piece. Now, is the story concocted? Never said it wasn't, not for a minute did I think to myself "man I wish I was a fly on the wall". But since the two are close friends and confidant's I'm sure "O.E.'s" opinion or stance on the topic was solicited. But who cares? I mean, even if it happened right in front of you on CNN you'd find a way to denounce it anyway because it doesn't mesh with your interpretation or stance on the matter. All things anti-predicto are hogwash, fabricated, GOP bull**** that should be dismissed as lunacy! And only POV's, opinions, information and facts that are pro-predicto will be blessed with his supreme stamp of approval!
From this time forward, all things Predicto will reside in Predictotropolis! The perfect little place in the world where no one opposes his views and embraces his Predictotorial philosphy as gospel, everyone gets a long, there's no violence and he has the authority rule upon this land however he deems fit and all virgins will only bare his children! Here here!
