I truthfully don't know until free agency and the draft maybe if we can get a few key pieces on defense we can make a run at the wildcard but I would lean toward 7-9 with Kirk.
    My 2013 Redskins Draft:
    -Under Construction-
    Round 1: NO PICK
Round 2: Jordan Poyer, CB Oregon State
Round 3:Brennan Williams OT North Carolina
Round 4: Bacarri Rambo S, Georgia (off field issues will drop his stock)
    Round 5:
    Round 5:
    Round 6:
    Round 6:
    Round 7:

Upgrade the O-line and the Safety position and, maybe.

I say yes, but to me it all depends on the defense whether they make the playoffs. Need to get Carriker and Orakpo back healthy, shore up the secondary, and get Fletcher healthy and playing well for another year.

Way to early for this. I want to see what offseason moves we make, and how the draft goes. Plus our schedule is brutal this year. We have 10 games against teams that finished .500 or better, and 4 games against teams that won their division this year. This wouldn't be an easy year for RG3, much less KC. I have faith in KC, but want to see how the offseason goes.

Yes, and anyone with two eyes could see Kirk was/is a better pocket passer than RG3.

RG3 will have total Rec. Surg. I am guessing he will miss at least 3 if not half of next season. So we will get to find out what Kirk can do. But until then we will talk it to death.
Rodgers was a first round pick being discussed as a possible #1 overall leading up to the draft. He fell that year because it was a rare situation where not a lot of teams were targeting QB's.

That being said I have confidence in this team adapting with Kirk starting and still producing enough offense to be a playoff team. I don't think we go far in the playoffs once we make it but I think with a healthy roster we could win what I expect to be a weak NFCE.

Based on what? They have different styles of play. That's why you didn't see much of the option during the Browns game. Griffin is a tremendous pocket passer.....when healthy.

I think we can be. Nothing is guaranteed (even with Griffin) just because things change from year to year, but overall I think we are well positioned to contend in the NFC. I would guess that our ceiling is lower with Cousins than it would be with Griffin.

I think that if we can address some of our defensive holes (through acquisitions and returning starters), run the typical Shanahan offense that we ran with Grossman in 2011, and stay relatively healthy, we have a shot to win more than we lose and maybe get to 10 wins. Why not? Cousins looks promising and I think more balance (better defense) is the key no matter who is taking the snaps.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

Of course we are. It's January, the Skins are eliminated, and we are talking about 2013. This is the moment the Redskins have historically been their best.

If everybody on offense steps up around him, and with a healthy defense and some new faces in the secondary, I'd say yes.

Look no one knows. We didn't know this year our D would suck the first 8 games, we didn't know our two starting safeties would start ONE game. Hell we didn't know our 6th round draft pick would break the Redskins rushing record man.

So with the info we have so far and what we have seen i say Kirk can do the job and do it well. We all know it would be almost impossible for the Eagles to be a good team next year, the Boys with the same setup will be the Boys, up and down like a yo yo and the Giants who knows. But we get our injured players on the D side squared away, get back Helu who can catch the ball out of the backfield, get a few pieces I say we will be strong. its not fair for us to doubt Kirk, he produced when the chips were on the line. He will have a full year under his belt, he will go thru all the OTAs, mini camps, etc. I think the Kid deserves us to trust him.

Same thing happened to Kirk that happened to Rogers. Kirk was expected before Wilson.

If we can upgrade our OL and secondary we should be able to make the paloffs again... no doubt.

When healthy....this bothers me. I don't want to have this conversation again next year. In the back of my mind I have Vick worries about RG3 and staying healthy. I just hope that Kirk at least gets his shot in the first few games of the year.
