Interesting article on Forbes about athlete disability insurance and major injuries. Wonder if RGIII had any?

They make way more money than most people.

They went to college for free.

They can buy their own damn insurance just like big boys.

    They are not special.

Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."

Surgery on his LCL would require rehabilitation of several months, potentially extending into the beginning of the 2013 season. If the ACL was operated on as well, it could mean that that RGIII might miss the entirety of the 2013-14 NFL season.

So I this is what happens when we have a Micheal Jordan like athlete.

    Unwanted attention.
