    Default Question About Season Tickets

When will those on the waiting list be informed if they will be able to purchase seats?

I got a call in June of '11. Was on the waiting list from '06.
Too bad there isn't a penalty for excessive underachievement. The Cowboys would be flagged. (Clayton)

The following things are *NOT* real: Easter Bunny, Great Pumpkin, Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, Good Government, honest politicians, the Boogeyman, and the Redskins Season Ticket Wait List.

Joined ticket wait list: Fall 1985
Got season tickets: June 1 1999
    Upgraded Seats: Summer 2008
Green Parking: June 1 2009 (weird huh?)

The waiting list has been running at a pace of 2-3 years for the right to purchase general admission (GA) seating. The TO will email, regular mail, and call you once you're eligible. However, once you sign up for the waiting list you're automatically eligible to purchase single game tickets from the Redskins for nearly every home game. The tickets available are supposed 'player and media returns' which the TO hasn't a need for, thus they are offered to waitlisters. Returned ticket seating locations vary throughout the stadium for each game.

I got a phone call in June of 2007. So it appears everyone on here received a call or a letter in June-ish.

    Good luck!

It's always been June as far as I know, going back at least 12 or 13 years.

In other words, when a season ticket holder hasn't paid his invoice, and it's June, his seat is up for grabs.

I got offered tickets last year but didn't buy them. Does this move me to the back of the line?

The policy used to be - they'd give you two chances. So if you refuse the tix one year, they'll ask you again the next year. And if you refuse again the second year, you lose your spot on the list. This was quite a few years ago... like 12-14 years ago.

And then they changed it - I think they bugged you for a number of years trying to get you to buy. RFKFedEx might have a comment on this.

Nowadays I don't know what the policy is.
