    Default R.I.P. Sol Yurick

Many might not be familiar with the name, but one of his books turned into a cult classic movie that many people have enjoyed.

One of my favorite cult classics. Oddly enough, they just added it to Netflix streaming this week.

Yep. He was already cast in Taxi when they were looking to cast him in the movie.

Never read the book. Going to have to do that some time.

The book is awesome. The same story line as the movie, but written in a much different way. I never realized until I read it that it was the retelling of the greek myth Anabasis.

The Dominators (Warriors) are pretty brutal in the book.

Not an easy read because of the writing style and dialogue, but well worth it.
