Just confirmed with Dave Spigler, "Spiggy Hogette" that the Hogettes are in fact, disbanding after 30 years of supporting the Redskins.

The decision for The Hogettes to disband after 30 years was made by Michael Torbert, aka "Boss Hogette," who said it was time.

Hogettes
After 30 seasons, the Hogettes are hanging up our pig snouts & dresses.
It has been an honor being a part of the greatest 12th Man fans in the NFL.
We will forever be Redskins' fans and cheer for our beloved team.
It is a new era and we will continue to support RG3 and his teammates.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!
We will also continue to help (incognito) raise money for Children's Charities.

The end of an era. Sad bc the Hogette's did a lot of off season charity work, etc. They are a super nice group of fans.

That being said, their theme had grown a little tired so I could see the need for change.

You know, I feel kinda the same way. i saw him at the Dallas game a couple weeks ago and guys were waiting for him outside the bathroom before the game to get pics with him. As great as a guy as he is, you know things like that gotta eventually burn you out a bit

I'm glad that Pez got to experience what being a Hogette is like.

That being said. I think it had run it's course. When we think of the Hogettes, we think the Gibbs era. It's also one less thing my buddies can make fun of (men in dresses).
