I'm thinking the Eagles may try and trade up for Geno Smith. He'd fit the offense well, or at least that would be the thought.
Chip Kelly and Geno Smith the new face of Philly? It's like Christmas!

Don't really know what to think about this...Half of me thinks they will have a so-so offense with a terrible defense and not do anything, with Vick leaving on a stretcher around week 6
The other half of me worries for some reason Kelly really is an offensive mastermind and will have the eagle really making strong gains and taking the league by surprise.
Either way I'm very interested to see the moves he's gonna make in the offseason
I assume that this means that the NCAA is about to announce an investigation/sanctions against Oregon. What a weasel.
I am curious to see how his O works. I am afraid that it will be very effective...
I hate the Iggles, but damn, this is a great hire IMO. He ain't Spurrier.
I bet he held out for full control and got it.
This is an interesting hire. He's was a hot commodity because of his preparation and attention to detail. Not just because of the Oregon offense. I'm interested to see how he adjusts to the league. I still think we handle them w/ RG3 at QB. This is still a QB driven league.
I like Kelly. I hate to see him go to philly. He's a damn good coach. He got lots of scheme and innovation.
I don't like the Eagles either, but I too think this is a great hire. He's very dedicated to football, it's his life. He doesn't have family, he's not a golf junkie like Spurrier. I think he comes in and takes this very seriously and as soon as he has a QB that can stay healthy, they'll be a very good offensive team. The good part though, is I'm not as worried as I would have been pre-2012 as we have our own potent offense and franchise QB and a damn good RB and backup QB.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong in my praise for him though and if sanctions are coming down at Oregon then I think this is a chicken #### move and doesn't show much character.
What are the possible sanctions against Oregon?
I won't under estimate Chip Kelly. Book it, Marcus Mariota will be their QB in a couple of years, the team will make the changes necessary to accommodate it. The Eagles will be a mess next season but it's too early to compare him to Steve O.
I take back all the bad things I said about Kirk Cousins
I don't know what to think of this hire. Better than Billick/Gruden/Lovie, but no one can predict what he will be like at the NFL level. I am hoping the reason for the delay was because he was assembling a highly-qualified, NFL-experienced staff. One of the major reasons AR failed in the past few years was he never filled the shoes of his assistants that moved on.
Kelly will certainly bring excitement to Philly and I'm sure McCoy/Jackson/Maclin are quite excited.
I think what makes Kelly attractive is his system.
I think his system will take a few years to impliment to it's full effect because he's going to need a certain type of player in terms of 1) speed and 2) endurance.
I think the Eagles will be a dangerous, but largely poor record wise, team over those rebuilding years.
Which could posibly mean Kelly gets the boot before he ever fully gets his players.
Unlike a Carrell or Harbaugh, I think Kelly's success and appeal is far more tied to his system and so I just don't see him having relatively quick success like those two
Tim Teblow's coming to philly.
Whoa, I thought he was going back to Oregon?
Cool, this will be like Spurrier 2.0.
