This has got to be an onion article.

I really like Dennis. I've had a few mutual friends and I believe in this guy.

Wow.. Now that is a move. Dennis Kucinich isn't a talking head, he's a very smart, driven LIBERAL idealog..
that's exciting... I would actually watch Fox if Kucinich was on that show. He would crush the intelects they usually have...

One thing for sure... Fox News listeners will no longer confuse Obama as a liberal once they get aload of Kucinich.

Heh. I think there's some common ground to be had between him and some of the crazy fringe that watch Fox.

Kucinich's voting record looks like what i would vote for... Kucinich is a 60% Liberal, as Colin Powell being 60% Repub,
Should be a good show to watch as he's been doing this for 45 years. (he does show hints of 'crazy' on occasion).

    some of his wiki:
    Single Payer Option
    Abolish Nukes
Kucinich voted against the USA PATRIOT Act,
against the Military Commissions Act of 2006,[33]
and was one of six who voted against the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act.[34]
He also voted for authorizing and directing the Committee on the Judiciary to investigate whether sufficient grounds existed for the impeachment of Bill Clinton.[35]
Kucinich criticized the flag-burning amendment and voted against the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.
His congressional voting record has leaned strongly toward a pro-life stance, although he noted that he has never supported a constitutional amendment prohibiting abortion altogether. In 2003, however, he began describing himself as pro-choice and said he had shifted away from his earlier position on the issue.

Are you kidding? They'll just project what Kucinich says and thinks onto Obama as if they are one in the same.

The greatest thing going for the GOP is too maintain the notion that every single Democrat is as liberal as the Pelosi's (and to a lesser extent Kucinich's) of the world.

For Fox News, this hiring makes total sense. Other than $'s though, I'm not sure I get what this does for Kucinich.

Many Republicans will get behind some of those policies, especially with a Dem in the White House, as they are evidence of government overreach.

Exactly, so much easier to maintain the polarization when all you present are the extreme Left and Right. What we have today is a treatment of the far ends of the bell curve as if they are where most people reside on the political spectrum, we're made to believe that those two extremes are the only two choices.

BTW, did you just ask if an out of work politician was motivated by something other than money?

I don't think he's 60% liberal... I think he's the most liberal congressional members since the 1970's. I challenge you to find a more liberal congressman in the last two decades.

I like him for the same reasons I like Newt. I don't always agree with him, but he usually makes me think, and I think he's a rare guy who will say what he thinks is the right answer even if folks will brand him crazy for it.

Only Pelosi isn't really a liberal like Kucinich is. I would argue that anybody in party leadership has to compromise in order to govern, unless of coarse their entire party in the chamber is philosophically monolithic. That doesn't describe house democrats, thus Pelosi dabbles in left wing causes, then compromises, then caves in. Kucinich's voting record really shows he's unafraid to vote for what he believes is right, political consequences aside. He's often as controversial among moderate pragmatic democrats as he is with Republicans. Kucinich is what passes for a true believer on the left in the Democratic party... I really don't think Nancy is. I don't think any speaker could be given the deals they care called upon to make.

Most unbelievable thing about Kucinich is he's still married a year out of office.

Yeah I don't think Kucinich is motivated by money. He's motivated by the spot light and to get heard.. always has been. His political positions
have cost him more money than he will ever make in the private sector. Hell he made his bones by standing up against a private take over of a
power plant in his district as mayor. Was elected to congress by a constituency who didn't like him previously ( out of office several years) but
came to see how much money his hard fought victory on this issue saved taxpayers.
