The next breaking story will be that Teo and Tebow have run off together to the Philippines.
My immediate response to this was "there's no way he ISN'T in on it."
Then, I thought back to when I was 17. A couple buddies and I "pranked" one of our best friends. We made an online profile on a message board we all frequented back then and started flirting hard. It wasn't long at all before our friend was getting serious with "Nixie." About the 3 week point was when we all realized we were in serious trouble. It had honestly been a fun prank, but the whole thing had turned quite real and our friend was definitely beyond the point of laughing it off. In the end, we ended up getting all our parents together and telling them first, because we knew it was the sort of thing that was going to really hurt him if we just dropped it on him.
The whole thing sounds preposterous, especially to those over 30. But I'd venture to guess that most people under 25 had, at one point, a similar thing happen that just never went quite as far.
Does this guy & ND have Lance Armstrongs PR team? They are screwing this up big time. ND's statement doesn't make much sense, and Manti's makes even less sense. Sounds like he made the story up with his buddy and everyone ran with it, even his dad.
This is crazy and it only sounds like it will get crazier from here. I wouldn't draft the kid, even if he drops like 4 or 5 rounds.
I can't believe all you conspiracy theorists and your crazy speculations!

"The Internet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhea: massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind-boggling amounts of excrement when you least expect it" - I wish I had said this.
I met a girl online once that lived in Texas while I lived in Virginia. We met in person twice for a week each time over six months while we were both in college. About 2 months after the last time we hung out her sister called and said she had died in a car wreck. Never thought to doubt it,

Yeah, that is what is fishy. He told his parents according to the article that they met at the Stanford game and had hung out in Hawaii together. He completely ignored that

So they created an entire family for this hoax? Sounds bizarre.
Just broke on CNN. **** is getting real yo!
I dont know if Te'o was in on it and I'll wait for the facts rather than speculate, but if he was, he is going to be less popular than Lance Armstrong.
Sounds like it's a cover story for him....

Brent Musberger still finds her hot.
solja, there are rule 6 and 13 violations (always a risk when you post stuff from such sites) in your screen captures, so you wanna edit those out.

Next we're going to find out that Rudy Ruettiger never existed either.
Or George Gipp for that matter.

ND sticking with Teo being the victim in this press conference.
