The biggest problem with Coyotes migrating in to areas where they weren't before,(such as Maryland),is that they can have a big impact on the indigenous predators. Fox and such. Deer herd thing? Nah.
Yeah, deer are mostly too big for coyotes. That used to be a job for wolves, and now for hunters.

So what? There are many other reasons someone may shoot a coyote than the moral outrage reasons...

I was riding around with my boss between landscaping jobs a couple of years ago on some back roads around Damascus. He's a hunter and is always looking for wildlife to take a look at while driving in rural areas. One day he points out the window and says "hey, see they coyote over there! He's making a break for the tree line." I was like "Ha-ha, yeah..." Then I sat for about 4 seconds and said "hey wait what the ****? There are coyotes here?" He went on to inform me of their presence in the MD-VA area, something which I was not aware of. It's interesting, having a medium sized predator in an area with so many urban and suburban settings nearby, but then again I'm sure they learned to get easy meals off our trash and stuff long ago.

That's sad. Why kill that? What's the point? End a life for 10 minutes of bragging rights? What an *******. Nice perspective on life. Failure.

Why kill any animal? I don't see why it's any sadder than killing any other animal (which I'm not opposed to btw).

Guns don't kill coyotes. People kill coyotes.

I agree. Why randomly kill anything for no reason? Why is that ever a good idea?

Oh look at that, a slack jawed yokel has dun killed a darn coyote and is all proud of his self so he's done taken a one of them pictures to memorial (I know slack jaws can't use that word but I can only try and mimic them for only so long) the "accomplishment".

Only losers and morons hunt. No exceptions. You get off on killing, you're the lowest form of life. Bunch of pansies.

Hunting: Regulated activity that is benificial to the overall deer population by thinning the herd, allowing increased health fo the remaining population,. Hunters kill during allowed "seasons", then capture the meat. Much is donated to local food banks.

Ramdom Killing: None of the above.

Look I'm no hunter but I'm not anti hunter either. But I did question the shooting of this animal just for grins. Then I read the reports of pets and humands beign threatened by such an animal. So basically I all twisted up on the subject. But I know that hunting is not random killing.

When ranchers start raising deer herds you may have a point, until then you're just full of it.
You would probably never believe just how much free and healthy meat is given to food banks 'cause of them thar losers and morons.
Full of crap you are....have an idea of what you're talking about you don't.

It is to me. I'd rather see emphasis put on our sprawl towards adapting to living with other living creatures, rather than just shooting them.

He is a vegan and like me, believes we can be above eating animals if we try. Not full of crap, just making an effort to live with other things.

Live with other animals in a natural way......yeah we get it...nature just happens to disagree with you. For all of the yelling about living naturally there is a complete blindness to the reality that habitats need balance, and predators are part of that balance, yet given a lack of natural predators over much of the US the habitats and animals themselves suffer.

I too am concerned about sprawl, but living here in Kentucky we don't have a lot of that, what we do have are out of control deer herds.

Our sprawl is part of the reason for the lack of predators and in no way natural.

Only losers and morons think you. I guess that meat on your big mac you buy died more humanly than an animal being shot. I suggest you watch some videos of slaughter houses and tell me how that is more humane

I have seen people like that guy who shoots anything and everything. Some were scared some for bragging rights but they are few and do not represent hunters in general.
