Even though I stated weeks ago that I was done with the show, I've kept up hoping for it to get better. I hit the fast forward button for a lot of last nights show cause it's the same old episode format. Bad guys get away (with something) due to incompetent law enforcement.

And...before he escaped, what was holding Hardy back from rolling in there being like "**** you, we got your kid, games over." How would Carrol know? The only connection he had to the outside world was Hardy and the lawyer.
At the veyt least, wouldn't they just keep a visitors log? Or is that something that's not really done?

And again though - excuse my ignorance, why wasn't visitation rights taken away from convicted mass murderer?

Still - not going to give up on this show. It's fun (and silly). Plus - Valorie Curry is hot, in my book.

I too am losing faith that this show will become an epic must see (like Lost).

I still like it, but mostly because I can see what they CAN do to make it awesome, and just hope they eventually get there.

I thought last nights episode was good. But I didnt understand why Hardy cared that the lawyer was killed.

Nothing will ever replicate Lost or 24.

I was at least hoping The Following could be like Prison Break, but it's not even close to that right now.

Still it's not a bad show, and it got a second season pickup already so people are watching, but compared to previous FOX Monday 9 PM powerhouses it has not lived up.

I liked last nights episode and cant wait to see what they do with the revelation of the larger cult..

I think that Hardy was upset that the lawyer was killed because she too was a pawn in Carol's plot. I know that she lost her fingers before, but what were they holding over her head this time?

Just watched last night. I still like and enjoy the show but each new episode asks the views to suspend reality a little bit more.

In the end, is that really a bad thing?

How realistic was Jack Bauer driving through LA during rush hour without it taking him 3 entire episodes to get to where he was going on the other side of town? Or, how realistic is that ancient beings are fighting over control of an island and that one of them is secretly bringing people to the island as potential future guardians?

I don't think of it abad thing at all. I'm not a movie or tv snob. If it entertains me than it's done it's job.

This was a show that I had high hopes for. I was kind of disappointed for the first few weeks because it lacked that epic feel I was hoping for. I do feel like it's picked up and I like the the direction the last episode was going. I think this show is good, but it isn't "OMG this rules". This show probably would have lived up to what I was hoping for if it was on FX instead of network TV. I do like the last couple of episodes better than the first episodes, so that's a plus.

I missed the 1st half of tonight's episode but I could probably gather what happened from what little I saw. This group gets stranger every week.

Yesterday's episode was kinda meh. Nothing really happened besides the introduction of Roderick. Charlie was such a boring character I didn't really care that he got killed off, felt nothing.
