right? I remember when I was a freshmen in HS, a kid from my homeroom asked a girl out via text and we ripped on him constantly for it. Now it seems like people find it strange to not pull that nonsense.

Thats some chicken stuff. Unless there's special circumstances you ask face to face. I mean if yu are textign and you ask about going to a movie together alright fine. True, though I might argue that it's harder to dupe multiple people the way this girl did. She duped players, the insiders, and pretty much everyone on this board. In the end people will remember what happened to Te'o.
