Enough people on this board have soured on Orakpo and his injuries. I'm waiting for someone to suggest we swap them for each other, injury for injury.

I agree, as tempting as this move would be, shanahan and Allen need to stick to there game plan and bring in 25-27 year olds for free agents and leaders from their respective teams, as much as possible, through the draft. I'm aware that revis fits the mold in age for a FA, but it also requires trading a high draft pick (2nd) and bringing in a player that is me first and foremost. We don't need that in the locker room.

But to mean these words is everything.

Nnamdi was 30 when he signed with Philly. Revis is 27 I think. If we can deal for him and work out a contract for 4 years, he is a major instant upgrade to our defense. I don't see how the Redskins can justify not taking a look and contacting the Jets.
I swear the next time i see anyone mention KC could be traded i will blow a gasket. Who is going to be the QB during the OTA's, mini camps and training Camp and are you damn sure RGIII will be ready to go by the first game? You want Grossman to be our starting QB? Kirk is not going anywhere unless the Jets go "totally stupid" and give us Revis and their 2nd round pick...the same moronic move we did giving Bailey and a 2nd for Portis.

I have to add, I am totally against trading any of our current frontline players or extending Revis' contract beyond 4 years. This a luxury exploration, not an "at all costs" necessity.

Oh.. And trading Cousins is totally out of the question.
Oh.. And trading Cousins is totally out of the question.
Revis won't come here anyway! He is Sean Gilbert's nephew and he receives advice from his uncle.....Thread can end now! How quickly some fans forget...smh

My max offer would be a 2nd and a 5th (we got an extra) and maybe their pick of a depth guy like Compton/Worthington/Baker/hankerson/Robinson/Helu/Royster.That being said, I dont think that will get it done. I fully expect a team with a low 1st rounder (PATS/GB/BAL/SF) to move their 1st rounder for him which would trump our offer.
IDC how we do it. But we need to get him on this team.
Move Hall to FS!![]()
No thanks. We're still a young and building team, we don't need a guy like Revis right now.
I can see the Lions going after him though.
