No. Keep our picks and continue to draft like the last 2 years.

While some say trade our 2nd, there are 31 teams that have 1st round picks (& 2nd rd picks) that could top our 2nd rounder.

I would go Fred Davis and a 3rd for Revis. Injured for injured. Plus we are getting good production out of Paulsen.

Morris for Revis straight up is grand theft for our side if you ignore the contract and the ACL. As it stands with those factors, Morris for Revis and some sweetener is a fair trade.
I wouldn't trade Alfred Morris for any corner in the league, just in terms of talent, skill, youth, durability, and the impact of the two positions, but when you add in who AM is--his attitude and his character--trading him would be an even more ridiculous--and unwise--notion.

Uh...I think you're having some reading comprehension troubles here. I said that Davis went for a second, one that was expected to he high. I said that Revis is much more valuable than Davis, even with the contract and injury. Hence, I said I don't see Revis going for the same price--aka, a 2nd rounder.

RG3 for Revis would be a bad move.
Jim Haslett is a horrible coach.

Just to play devil's advocate, people said the same about Clinton Portis, and he was undoubtedly better than Morris in his two Denver years, before he bulked up for Gibbs.

That was a totally different situation though. An aligning of the stars. Champ wanted out of here, and Portis wanted to get paid and he and Shanahan both knew it wouldn't happen in Denver.

    No thank you.
The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."

I can't verbalize how disappointed I am to see that this thread exists and has hit seven pages.

I can't express how dumbfounded I am that there is talk of trading Morris or Cousins or anyone else.

Sorry when the best DB in the NFL becomes available for trade, and our team's greatest need, a few of us become interested.

Rex got Revis all gassed up. "Oh he's the greatest corner evah. in the historay of thah whole world! Oh he's the best defensive playah I've evah seen.

Now Revis thinks he can get Franchise QB money when he hits the market next year. Eff that noise. You're a cornerback. A CORNERBACK. You ain't getting QB money. You want QB money you start loosening your throwing arm. Otherwise you get CB money.

    Dumb Ryan spawn is dumb.

Draft picks aside -- probably not wise to give it to him "franchise QB" money when he's turning 28 before training camp and coming off ACL surgery.

This is a classic Vinny Cerrato move, to make a trade and give him a big extension before he's played a down for us. That in and of itself should make us all second-guess the wisdom in such a deal.

Are you saying he won't get it, or he doesn't deserve it? Because he WILL get it. Nate Clements did. So did Asomugha, Woodson and Bailey.
