Where does rg3 rank? 8th. Behind Luck, Kapernick, Wilson and Newton. And that, mind you, is where Gil Brandt has him if he were HEALTHY.

Gil Brandt has always been a terrible writer. He puts RG3 one spot below Cam because Cam beat him in Week 9 lol.
Cam hasn't even sniffed the playoffs in his 2 years lol
Its nice to have a franchise QB for the next 10 years and to be even involved in one of these debates............ just sayin'.
The reality is that RGIII is going to drop down everyone's list (excpet ours) until we know how he's going to come back from the knee surgery. Every analyst on the planet is going to throw in a "Yeah, but......." when they talk about him.
How quickly they forget.
Trust me, Robert is going to hear all offseason about Kaep in the Super Bowl, Wilson beating him in the playoff, Luck was the safer play, how he can't come back from another knee surgery. He is going to push himself like mad.
They will remember in 2013.

I can accept this rating based on A) we only have a limited sample to judge RGIII and B) we have to see how he comes back from his injury.
As a short term rating or a rating looking at today only I'm fine with this.
Problem with "A" is that we only have limited sample to judge Kaep, Wilson AND Luck in as well and guess who out preformed them all in this "limited sample"?
But I guess "B" is what is causing this disrespect from these "experts".
How many more "quotes" can I manage in one "post"?

Those two are only as good as the company that surrounds them.
The others like RG3, Luck, Wilson make the people around them look better than they may be.
Kaepernick & Russell Wilson are over rated. They really haven't impressed me to be ranked ahead of the others. Imagine if RG3/Bradford or Stafford was starting for 49ers offense? Probably be as explosive at the 1999 rams.
Before Kaep & Wilson started, both teams had respected offenses to begin with, they are surrounded with enormous talent on their team.
Unlike them, RG3 made a bigger impact by taking our horrible offense & turned them into super bowl caliber offense in a single season.
Let's go Hokies!
Stafford is so under rated here
Let's remember Brandt spent almost 30 years in the Cowboys organization, that tends to warp your mind.
RG3 needs to figure out how to finish a season. No one wants him to have Vick-like durability. Perhaps while rehabbing he could pick up some additional muscle mass.
Jim Haslett is a horrible coach.
It's somewhat extremely premature to say that he needs to "figure out how to finish a season." Michael Vick needs to figure out how to finish a season. RGIII is a rookie. Vick has an eleven-year history of not staying on the field. You can't compare the two.
You can't take just one season and extrapolate that. If so, then Peyton Manning needs to figure out how to finish a season. So does Brady.
Apply the same to Joe Gibbs as a coach. Man, 0-5? He needs to figure out how to coach. Nobody wants him to be [insert terrible coach from the 1981 era here].
That sounds silly after giving him a real sample size, doesn't it?
