Highest grossing comedy is actually The Hangover, but yeah loved Ted. Worth a rental.

I thought it was a terrible movie that I laughed hysterically throughout.

I liked it. Not on the level of Johnny Dangerously or Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I'd put it in the category of the Harold and Kumar movies. Those who like H&K will probably like Ted.

I think that's exactly right. It was much better than I expected going in, and I definitely enjoyed it.

The Hangover was the highest-grossing R-rated comedy in the US. Ted made more internationally. Apparently, Vegas bachelor parties don't make as much sense to foreigners as talking teddy bears.

Ahh, I stand corrected. Yeah just realized I was looking at Box office mojo domestic.

My favorite part was where he was making fun of Boston girls. Movie was what I expected; stupid mindless fun with some great laughs and some lame moments.

I thought it was pretty good, but not the best. Can't believe it's the highest grossing R rated comedy of all time, though.

I wouldn't call it top 10 or anything but I thought it was a pretty solid funny movie. I didn't see it at the theaters but I definitely would not feel ripped off if I had. (I feel ripped off by the theaters about 2/3 of the time).

The plot was kind of unique and the teddy bear live action was really well-done IMO. I was born in 1980 so the flash gordon stuff was a little before my time.

It was hilarious; I cried laughing during the fight scene, rewound it and watched again. I don't think I've laughed that hard for awhile.

Overall the movie was about what I expected: sophomoric, inappropriate...and a good laughing break for me.

This is exactly how my wife and I viewed it. Thought the vulgarity at times had trying too hard to be funny written all over it.

After some reflection, I think the movie probably wasn’t on par with Super Bad or Hangover … (Something About Mary is my Citizen Kane for comedies) but the handful of lines and scenes that were good, were really, really good for me … and of course the subtle scenes are what killed me.

Like when the fat kid said … “stand up straight when you talk to me.” and Wahlberg in a perfectly disgusted and puzzled reaction says, “why the **** would he say that.”

It was pretty good. I though Will Ferrel was better than a teddy bear in the Other Guys, but he usually is.

Nothing groundbreaking but was enjoyable...liked the Flash Gordon idea.

The Hangover was vastly overrated. Ted had some funny parts, but it was not solid all the way through like some great comedies.

Worth a rent on a rainy day.
