Yeah, it is a shame that guys like Larry Allen are getting in first-ballot because of all the Cowboy bandwagon love, while players like Jacoby are STILL on the outside looking in.

Lachey will probably never make it because his career was cut short by injuries.

Not sure about Samuels, though he could get in.

I think it is time for ES and Redskins nation to start another push for some of these players like was done for Monk.

It's funny how OP's can evolve. This started out as a joke thread and then I realized I was serious.

Strahan played left end, meaning he was never competing against a teams best o-lineman.

He'll get in eventually, but he's no sure fire first ballot HOF'er, obviously.

Jacoby should be in without a doubt. Strahan....well if him and Brett hadn't laughed so hard when the sack record was broken and the fact that he whined like a baby and almost retired before his only Super Bowl season, he might be in but I think people hold both of those things against him.

I always thought he was pretty damn good. Probably the only Giant I ever liked...(please forgive Redskins' Nation)

True. That sack record wasn't going to get him in, because that was obviously tainted.

I think Strahan will get in, but him not being first-ballot doesn't surprise me.

I never understood the lack of love for the Hogs who were arguably the best offensive line ever. To not have Jacoby in is a major travesty.

Love the name Kosher Ham.....did you know that crab is kosher in Maryland as is lobster in New England.agree that Chris will make it at one point, but definitely not a first ballot HOFer

art Monk deserved 1st ballot as well.....strahan or any giant can wait. Then again I'm sure Mara is going to make a one year exclusion for an 8th HOF inductee for this year so strahan can be inducted. It's only for the competition of the game......or whatever he said.

Sorry, I've been a Skins fan all my life. Love Chris as a guy and a player, but he is not a HOFer imo. Sorry.

? Sapp as 1st ballot over Strahan. Not even close IMO.

Jacoby and Grimm aren't even on the radar and it is a travesty.

I despise Chris Carter and his stats are a reflection of the time he played. He is a racist and a dirtball based on merely his television personality. I'm sure he's worse in real life.

RIP Sean Taylor, may your passing serve as a message to others.

Victim of era. If he had played with a quarterback or if Vinny had built a decent team around him he'd have gone from a perenial pro bowler to a hofer. Just my opinion.

My bad... meant Lachey. Who may have been the most talented lineman the Redskins ever had and may have been regarded as the best lineman in the league for 3-4 years.

Jacoby should have been in well before Grimm, imo.

As for this year, good choices, though I would have preferred Reed get in before Carter.

    I don't think Samuels is a HOF.
