A source close to the murder investigation of Oscar Pistorius said police found evidence of steroid use in the Olympic track star’s home.
“Steroid drugs were found at Pistorius‘ home together with evidence of heavy drinking,” according to the source, unnamed in a Sun report. “That’s why police have specifically ordered that he be tested for steroids.”

This guy's contention is that he got up in the middle of the night and thought there was an intruder in the house. So he got his gun and fired four times into the bathroom door.
Who does that? Like he didn't at any point think, "maybe it's my girlfriend going to the bathroom." Or he didn't look next to him and see if she was laying in bed? And what kind of criminal locks themself in a bathroom?
Basically the guy is a lying murderer.

At Tuesday's bail hearing, prosecutors said that after an argument, Pistorius attached his prosthetic legs, walked seven meters (about eight yards) to the bathroom where Steenkamp was hiding and shot her.
I find myself wondering whether Pistorius's story is even a viable defense to murder ... So what if it actually was a burglar? He has basically admitted that he intended to kill someone but he just made a mistake about who it was behind that door. Even under the most generous castle doctrine laws, this would be a borderline case since he fired through a door without even seeing his target. I don't know what the self-defense laws are like in South Africa, but in America he would only have a chance of winning with this defense in Florida and maybe Texas.
