I believe that Tillman can continue his progression and become a 20 game winner. Dark Horse pick Matusz. He was great in the bullpen and if he wins a starting job, he may just live up to his potential.

Watched them beat the Red Sawks last night. More late inning magic and more bullpen shutting them down, but nah, we can't possibly do what we did last year.

Just read a downer of an article on cnnsi.com about the birds. projecting an 80 win season, claiming they can't be as good as last year bla bla bla. I cannot wait for the season to start. I can honestly say I've never been so excited about the start of the MLB season. I hope people get their butts to OPACY this year.

I'm already planning a trip to NYC to see the O's play in April. Last year didn't go so well when I went on a Saturday, as Strop ruined everything. I wish I could go to the Sunday Night game in NYC that weekend in April but work calls the next day.

O's spring training game on MASN right now!

Orioles W against the Yankees from 9/6 is on MASN right now. It's the game where we hammered Phelps, and Reynolds had 2 dingers and we tied for the lead in the division. Probably the emotional high water mark of the regular season (2 days before the Markakis injury).

Turned it on at the top pf the eighth inning. Smiled as I watched the O's give up 5 runs because I knew what was coming up in the bottom of the inning.

I was reading an article that the O's host the WS on September 5th after being in Cleveland the day before for a 7 PM game and since the Ravens won the SB, they will be hosting a game that night when we're schedule to play the WS at 7. They want the O's to switch their game to 1 PM and pay the O's for lost revenue. But I thought I read that they cannot play an afternoon game before 5 PM coming off a road trip. The NFL thought about switching it to Wednesday like they did this past year for the DNC, but that is the first day of Roshashana (sp). Never heard of the NFL not scheduling games because of a jewish holiday, but I could be wrong.
