    I'll be catching up on this ASAP. Served with a couple of guys who did this way back in the mid 80's. Got the opportunity to go against a team of them while an aggressor. They camped out right next to us actually on that one. Had a chance to talk with them about their training such. My medical training was pretty intense,but they left me in the dust. Can't wait to watch these episodes.

    Watched them back to back last week, great stuff. Thank you for bringing this show to my attention
    Of course bro! I don't watch regular tv besides sports... and these kinds of documentaries.

    I remember you posting something about being a medic, right? Or weren't you a rescue guy?

    I was a humble Air Force medic for 4 years a few hundred years ago in the 80's. 90250. M.S.S.. Medical Services Specialist. Otherwise known as a "Bedpan Commando." Training was great though. Both for inpatient as well as in the field,(though I never saw combat). I spent the bulk of my last 2 years in as an EMT and the final year as an aggressor and instructor. That involved extra training. Some of which was beyond what the career field called for. That was when I had the chance to meet a few of these guys. Watching this series makes me appreciate that experience that much more since they do far more than what I had initially been told,(or at least remember).

    Pararescue is severly overlooked when it comes to the elite... These guys have a heavy heart and certainly aren't intimidated by much. I give my Corpsman the utmost respect and even though they didn't train with us, those guys would put their neck on the line for one of us in any situation at the drop of a hat.

    Have you seen the first 2 EP's?

    I watched all 3 episodes of this on YT last night...It was great! What a great bunch of guys!! Always wanting to go and sometimes being told you can't...how frustrating can that be? LOTS!! When they had to sit and wait for clearance to go into that one area..and it took over an hour...wow...amazing...good show

    Good man. Very good episode. Was this the first time they've taken enemy fire?

    Bravo NatGeo, Bravo! I don't want to give away too much info for those still trying to watch it.

    I did.

    Holy crap, what a good episode.

    NATGEO did a great job, and I thought they did a good job of showing how "normal" these guys are while doing a job that most people could never dream of doing.

    <SPOILER ALERT>

    <<<<<SPOILER TO FOLLOW - LAST WARNING IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE EPISODE>>>>

    My only compaint, and a minor one at that, was how much the guy beat himself up at the end on whether the kid lived or not. And I can never relate, so I really should not judge him at all.

    On another note, I do wonder how often these guys find out the fate of the victims. We know the producer (or AP) told him the kid pulled through, but how often does that happen? Was that a rarity and for show, or do they often get feedback?
